Nocturne op. 43 no.3 by Georg Goltermann for cello and piano. Very melodic and romantic music for cello. Good for cello students who are looking to find rarely performed romantic cello music by this famous German cello teacher and composer. Very helpful to work on left hand technique, smooth shifts, string crossings and legato. Intermediate level.
This recording was originally made as cello solo part. Piano accompaniment added later.
