Right. I m having issues helping the customers with new iPhone eSIM activation. This video tutorial is very helpful! I think I won't need to transfer the chats to Technical Support team any more. 😂
1:43 So glad I found this! I had T-Mobile transfer from physical SIM to eSIM over 2 hours ago and I still had no connection to the mobile network. The rep did not tell me that I had to download the eSIM profile! 🙄 For the Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro (with Android 13), remove the physical SIM, then go to Settings > Network & Internet > SIMs (Add a network) > Download your SIM > Next. At the "Use T-Mobile?" prompt, tap "Download". You should soon see "Download Finished". Tap "Settings". Enable the "Use SIM" switch. At "Turn on T-Mobile?" prompt, tap "Yes". And after about a minute, the exclamation point should disappear from the Cell Signal icon at the top of the screen and you should see an acquired signal. After doing this, my 5G signal strength went from -130 and 21Mbps download on the old physical SIM (type "TM9263"), to -94 and 700+Mbps download on the eSIM! 🥰
This video was way more helpful then the guy I talked to on the customer service line. He told me to just wait and the cellular plan will be on my new phone. Never did and turns out he forgot to tell me I had to physically do stuff with my iPhone.
@@Pravduh they know about it but general activation that used to majorly take place at stores is being done over the phone now since everything is ordered and it takes time to adjust
First! Great vid, can you make a video detailing how to activate eSIM on Mint? I feel like many people on the r/mintmobile subreddit are asking about this
As of the latest Samsung Note 20 Ultra firmware update, the SIM Manager option is now available on unlocked devices. I successfully converted my physical T-Mobile SIM to eSIM as the primary line in addition to a secondary line via physical SIM. I'm in the US. Hope this helps.
now it would be great if the TMO website WORKED and let me actually activate the ESIM instead of giving me the vague/slightly insulting "Looks like we got our wires crossed. We weren’t able to process your request at this time. Please try again later," error.
Good video Stetson. Here’s my question, is this process the exact same with Sprint? Especially since now they are T-Mobile. I’m trying to get my physical sim into a sim just like you did here. Or do I have to download all the T Mobile apps and go thru this process?
i work in customer care lol, u cant do this same exact process yet, unless u have the new iphone 13, since we give them esims instead of the physical one when we activate them. although the physical sim would still work.
So I switched from apple to samsung. I bought the phone at bestbuy which came with a tmobile sim card. We were having trouble adding my tmobile service with the new sim card. While he was on the phone with tmobile I remembered I got an email saying after you get phone tap this link to activate. I did and now I have an "esim" on my new phone which is working with my plan. Can I remove the actual sim card now and just use my esim?

How do you switch from Verizon to US Mobile? Do you need too cancel with your current provider and then start with the new provider? Or can I do it all through US mobiles website and they will cancel for me?
I really need to make a video on this! Here are the basic steps: 1. Keep your current service _active_ . 2. Get your Verizon account info, including the number you need to port your number, your port-out PIN, and your billing ZIP code. I suggest you reach out to Verizon support to confirm this information. It’s important this is correct. 3. Order a SIM starter kit from US Mobile (use code “stetson” at checkout to get it for free + $20 account credit), and when it arrives follow the instructions to activate. 4. During the activation process, US Mobile will ask for your Verizon account information 5. Wait for your number to transfer over 6. When your number has transferred, you should be good to go! US Mobile will automatically cancel your Verizon account. Verizon will likely send you one final bill, and then you can enjoy the savings on US Mobile. I hope this helps!
