Thank you so much for this video, i was on the phone with T-Mobile customer service for 40+ minutes and the man didn't know how to transfer E-sim between phones, he also did not understand English very well. After nearly 2 hours i got frustrated with repeating myself, hung up the phone, went to RUclips and your video got my phone activated in 5 minutes. So Thank you my friend for saving my sanity!
This is so helpful! I just did 3 trade ins to iPhone 14 series on T-Mobile and they are all coming in the mail tomorrow so I’ll have to do this process 3 times. Thanks for the video!
Hello. I'm considering buying the new iPhone 14 Pro. I'm currently an android user. When you start setting up the new IPhone, does it require an Apple ID to complete setup? Or can we defer that task until later?
Thank you. This video is exactly what I am looking for. My current 12pro has been activated with T-Mobile physical SIM and I want to move the SIM to embedded eSIM, so I can purchase another physical SIM in other countries.
I don't think the procedure for SIM to eSIM conversion on the same iPhone works for T-Mobile Prepaid plans. When I log in to T-Mobile, my interface looks different than the one you showed and when I go under (My) Account, there is no option to update/upgrade my SIM.
I wonder if this would work the same for T-Mobile Prepaid. Not upgrading any time soon but when I do I hope T-Mobile Prepaid eSIM transfer works the same
I have AT&T prepaid, 40 dollars flat a month. Have 13 pro max and got 14 pro max on day of release. Just had to take it to store as they needed eSim key from their computer was in and out in less than 10 minutes. Easy process. Now that the latest iOS update is out you might not even need to drop hy store. Regardless whole process is easy. Keeping 13 pro max as my secondary phone in addition to when Inam traveling but I have no doubt soon most cell companies will adapt to eSim And make it easier to switch quickly
Thank for the “courage” from Apple that no one ask for. They make simple process to complicated thing. I could have upgrade but Apple, you can keep your new phone.
Are you able to complete this process if you don't have the physical Sim in another phone. I traded the other phone in already so there's no option to have two phones side by side to complete the process as you've explained. The video was so seamless thank you so much. Hoping to get my issue resolved.
Are these steps the same for someone coming from an iPhone 7 upgrading to an iPhone se 3rd? Also, is there a preference in ordering the phone? Either from apple or tmobile?
So how about when you’re transferring your number from T-Mobile to Verizon? I’m having issues with my physical sim T-Mobile iPhone 13 pro max. I bought a iPhone 14 pro max with Verizon and I’m trying to turn on iMessage with it and it won’t work. No Matter what I’ve tried.
I’m buying the phone from T-Mobile today only, we did the hard stuff yesterday, today we’re trading in the iPhone 11 64 GB and we’re getting 800 dollars off. I’m ready to upgrade my battery sucks rn
Stetson, A moment of your time, this is Just what I was looking for. question though, will this work with i15 pro?.. The t mobile guy said something about a qr code as well, phone arrives in 3 weeks. just need to prep. I have new phone anxiety..
Wow! I also requested and texted *MOE* Now when you purchase a carrier-locked Phone, the iPhone 14 series receives an activation policy to this effect-only support E-SIMs from Carrier “iOS”. Any other SIM that’s inserted will give an error message. In the United States today, typically only devices that are on device payment plans are locked by the carrier, to prevent the users from using them with another carrier before it’s been paid off. If you purchase a device and pay the full price, the device receives an activation policy telling it to work with any SIM-KARTE{E-sim}
One question I have is that I am a sprint customer they got transferred to T-Mobile but I try going on to T-Mobile's website but it keeps redirecting me to the sprint mobile app when I try to convert my physical Sim to eSIM
I traded my S9 for the S23, which I then traded for my mom's new iPhone14 Plus. I took the sim from the 23 and put it into my iPhone SE - then fell asleep watching this video. I woke from a dream to discover that my SE was ready to transfer to eSim on the 14... Long story short, I was laying down in bed, in my pajamas, laughing before I went back to counting sheep.
I clicked “transfer from another iPhone” like 5 mins ago 🤦🏻♀️ I only just realized the iPhone 14 pro I have doesn’t have the SIM slot while iOS 16.4.1 is downloading. Lets see how this goes for me…
Ok question when I’m buying the new iPhone in apples website should I click(unlocked version) or should I go with (get a new iPhone with any carrier) or does it not matter ?
Hi Stetson, I am a little disappointed, when I saw the notification, I was hoping You were going live for a while, That is ok, I will see You with Dennis on Best Cell Phone Plans. Peace Buddy.
Stetson "please" do a video on best plan for travelers; including MNVO/non-MVNO plans (with alternative options i.e phone-plan with an Airalo add on etc) thanks
My eSim (T-Mobile, USA) is not working, after turning off/turning on I get a signal and connection, but only for 30 seconds, after which all signal and connection disappeared. I am abroad, and I am using a local provider's physical Sim card as a second line. My device ( iPhone 12 Pro) is working properly. I spent over 6 hours talking T-mobile technical team, but no result. Is any suggestion?
I still am not ready to jump on the E-SIM train, I feel like Apple is forcing there willing U.S. Carriers when Apple dies not build & own the cellular networks.
My sister had major issues setting her new phone up because of the cellular transfer issue and I’m so glad I found your video so that I can avoid those issues when I set mine up later today. Thank you!
Back in May 2019, I had the iPhone XS, I was about to travel outside the US and wanted to have an esim with my T-Mobile line, and I had convinced the customer service rep to switch to esim haha, took like 3 days of contacting and they finally let me do it. It was awesome, T-Mobile has the best customer service of them all!
So when you’re transferring your phone number to your new iPhone with eSIM the reason why you get the pop up, they have to click the side button because you’re verifying that you were the authorized user transferring that phone number to that new phone so that it gives you protection, so no one doesn’t steal your phone number
I have a workphone number physical sim iphone 11 and Its not under my name( company phone) , would i be able to transfer it to esim since i wanted to use my own iphone 14 instead of carrying 2 phones? Does account name or ownership prevents esim transfers?

Thank you! Please continue doing what you do! You saved me a major headache!
You’re better then the T-Mobile
Just got my IPhone 14 and had this issue. You solved it! Thank you very much
Thank you ! You saved me a trip to the T-Mobile store.

You're welcome, Brett! Glad I could help out!
Thanks for this Stetson! As a mobile expert, this is a God send!
Wow, this is so much simpler than popping out the sim card and putting it in the new phone. Thanks Apple! /s
To all prepaid customer you have to call customer service and give them your IMEI. After that it takes like 5 minutes to set it up.
what if i still have sprint?

Nice thanks. Will be doing it soon but for metro.
Video is helpful. I'm not ready jump in to Esim yet
Does this work if I am on a T mobile prepaid connection as well?
What if I'm going from physical SIM on the iphone 12 (tmobile) to eSIM on the iphone 14P (Verizon)
I love ur videos! Thank you for saving my time!!!
Man is a homie for making this video🙏🙌
Was that 14 Pro unlocked? Do I need to do some extra steps if it is not bought from T-Mobile?
Thank you.
This video is exactly what I am looking for.

Is every T-Mobile plan automatically e-sim supported?

Can you do a video android to ios esim setup process? Going from note 10plus to 14 pro max
Do not fall for this, this is a scam
Where is the trade in deals video? Should’ve been out after the Apple event.
I know 😭 I got caught up in some other projects. Those are my next priorities!
@@StetsonDoggett thanks bro. I always check them out before I purchase.
I was looking for a way to convert sim to esim.

Does this work the same way with a samsung note 9?

can you do a video for Android to IPhone simcard transfer to eSim?
Can it still work if i have iphone 8 to 14
Did gou figure it out?
Does this work with Samsung?
Can someone explain why an esim is better or worse? I’ve never heard of an esim before.
I needed to hotspot to set up esim while I was out. During school. The slow wifi wouldn’t work I needed someone with T-Mobile
Do they charge for this now? I heard that T-Mobile will charge you every time you switch phones with esim,
Can i transfer physical sim to esim same way from Android to iPhone 14 pro max ??
Thank you!
What about going back from eSIM to physical SIM?
I believe you need to order a physical SIM from T-Mobile and then follow the process I show on the T-Mobile website to activate it.
Thank You!
Got anything to transfer from Android to iphone 14?
does anyone know if this will work for prepaid tmobile plans?
Or you can just go into the iPhone settings and hit convert to eSIM without having to go to any carrier website.
I clicked “transfer from another iPhone” like 5 mins ago 🤦🏻♀️ I only just realized the iPhone 14 pro I have doesn’t have the SIM slot while iOS 16.4.1 is downloading. Lets see how this goes for me…
I called in to have them activate a new phone with a SIM card now Esim and Sim Cards won’t work now
How to transfer mint esim from old iphone 13 phone to xfinity new iphone 14 phone?
Very good 👍
I tried this today but the t-mobile website didn't let me upgrade to eSIM. It sent me to a local store or to call customer care to do it.
Thank you
Ok question when I’m buying the new iPhone in apples website should I click(unlocked version) or should I go with (get a new iPhone with any carrier) or does it not matter ?
You want the unlocked version.
@@StetsonDoggett what’s the difference if I go with(iPhone T-Mobile service) or the unlocked iPhone ?
Tmobile website option works from Galaxy S21 to IPhone 14 pro ?
Yes!
What a huge hassle. I use both android and ios on tmobile and refuse to upgrade to an esim. Takes 2 seconds to swap between actual sim card.
None of these work for TMoible prepaid plan
How do you transfer esim on iPhone to esim on android?
Amazing
Not bad Ty
I’m curious how this would work coming from
Something like an 8 plus considering they didn’t have 5G 🤔
Did you figure it out yet?
@@sailur they basically just upgraded the sim
Do boost moblie

Does account holder get notified if I switch to esim from my physical sim
Only the account holder can transfer Sims and change plans.
@@frank-bmtz I wish there was a way around it I don’t want my dad knowing I did it he’s the account holder

Hmm my comments are being removed.
Looks like this one is still here!

if you convert from physical sim to esim using tmobile account web app can you go back to your physical sim or is it a one direction only process?
Gone are the days where you can pop in SIM card and just set up right away. iCloud and everything
after converting to eSIM.... should we keep it the plastic? or is it garbage now?
I still am not ready to jump on the E-SIM train, I feel like Apple is forcing there willing U.S. Carriers when Apple dies not build & own the cellular networks.
Oh how things have changed. I guarantee the carrier that doesn't sell an iPhone, they would be in trouble in the US market
I don’t like it due higher difficulty to get cheaper local sim card when traveling abroad, but it’s super convenient if the prepaid card offer esim.
@@christinelu7949 right you will have to bring an old phone and hotspot it
