While Paul might get the high harmonies, I think George has the more complicated harmony to perform. But it sounds magical!

B side of Ticket To Ride. One of the ones John didn't like. See if you can find the film of The Bangles singing it on Chris Carter's show.

What a beautiful haunting song. What make the Beatles better than most rock bands, like the Rolling Stones is the Beatles have 3 great songwriting lead singers . And the drummer sings as well.

Excelente! Obrigado.

It´s interesting that both John and George play G#m on the parts ( " for red is the colour that will make me blue) when the harmony vocals suggest its a C#m chord.

Ground breakers, I can see it like a BLUE note just passing by on a trip to another tone.

@@flouisbailey G#m and C#m are chords related to the key of the song and are parte of the major scale or the key and the major pentatonic too.. so I don't think that it's related to the E blues scale.. that you will find a G and C natural and sharp too probably..

I was using an example of how a note can be used to transition into another KEY. Using a “blue note” as a stepping stone, just a thought. These guys slowed the tape machine ect. to paint with sound, I think they broke a few rules.👑

@@RicardoAldana1988 Exactly. This case seems more like the chords contradicting the melody. The main melody on that phrase starts on a C# and descends to a E, so it should not be a G#m. I always played a C#m/G# , but the resulting harmony should be named C#m7(9)/G# . There is no blue note on this song.
