"What? You weren't working for the government during the Gulf War?"
"No. I was in tenth grade."
"Oh. Right. _Yuck._"
Given how high school can be, I'd take sleeping in a ditch.
Current games have progressed on graphics, but gamepay decreased. How pathetic.
This is a true game.
i still dont understand how to hack those number thing
Ilu Donde click on the ones that glow
yea i click there somtimes it works smtimes it fails also i think it has to do somethinng with the ful number chart on left side it was so bad man cudnt do anything i had to delete the game
Indeed I bought them digitally and damn takes me back
Not true, strictly speaking.
There's a lot of fantastic games on the market these days. They both look great, and play brilliantly.
Granted the same can't be said for the later Splinter Cell titles when compared to this one, but your sweeping statement is unfair nonetheless.
There's also a bar of gold in the bank owner's office that you can crack open. I remember taking that with me to the extraction point, and receiving a 100 no matter what happened during the mission.
wtf
Hmmm. I always wonder what to do with that.
Duuuude! I did that same thing too... lol 🤣
I threw the gold brick at a gaurds head.. he fell straight from on the floor.
@SomeKindaSpy. . .I remember that - and it took me a while to get up to that room. Had to climb up a pipe and got a little complicated because there's an open window and the guards outside can detect you.
LOL, I remember that I was hugely surprised that Grimsdottir was younger than Sam, but now it seems obvious. Goes to show that when you're a child, all adults just ageless older people.
9:38 I HATED when the guards would turn their heads like that. Like they just KNEW I was there waiting... creepy
Fisher can't count past 3? Maybe he could join a certain games company, he'd fit in with his numeracy skills!
valve
Thats just big brain dudeeeeee
valve
I know it’s been 3 years But please explain this joke
@@classyrich9834 Valve is known for not making 3rd games in their franchises. For example, they have made Half Life 1 and 2, Dota 2, Portal 1 and 2, Team Fortress 1 and 2, Left 4 Dead 1 and 2 etc. And despite the fact that fans have been requesting Half Life 3 for decades, Valve still hasn't made it.
I played this game on my PS2 and today like 10 years later i'm playing it again on my pc, what a game! They don't make it like this anymore
Facts 💯 still playing it today
Oh man ps2 is like a completely different version
Having played through Chaos Theory once more recently, I've come to the conclusion that Ubisoft had quite a fascination with putting angry welders and repairmen in their game :>
I remember loving the detail they put into tools like pliers
Most welders and repairmen are always in a state of frustration so, realism?
its been over 6 fucking years and I still have no idea how that hacking shit works.
+Simulated Games what do u mean hit the button?
I hit the lit number but it never works
+Simulated Games U mean "when the number lights up then hit X button or blue button "
+Simulated Games Gee thx
+Hoxton47 And to take your guess you highlight the one you want and press the x button if on PS2/PS3 or A if on Xbox.
It's incredible I never had the opportunity to play this game two console generations ago. WHAT A GAME. It absolutely destroys Metal Gear in terms of gameplay and complexity.
Santiago Vásquez Gómez
Even MGS 5 does not bring the same thrills, and it tried copying everything! Some things don't change...
desfefe You are right. Look at Snake now: he has all the gadgets, all the abilities, the takedowns. Even parkour. Konami obviously based its gameplay on SC: Blacklist, due to the cover system, the stealth indicator, the gadgets, among other things. I'm surprised so many people say Sam Fisher wouldn't survive a single second fighting with Snake, and I say them: "Sorry, but Fisher is a ghost".
Santiago Vásquez Gómez
Sam Fisher is the stealth master, and while Snake is off repeating the last two words of a conversation with a cyborg ninja, Sam would have been done with the mission!
***** I meant the old Metal Gears (1 and 2). Snake Eater is simply untouchable and TPP will be GOTY 2015 if you ask me.
Santiago Vásquez Gómez
Meh. I think TPP will be forgotten and MGS 3 will emerge as the best MGS game ever. This game is too complex, and there is a too wide array of technology available to you. I am not sure really. I mean on one end, there is not much to look up to, but, I believe there would be better games released. MGS 3's beauty was the lack of complexity, or at least, compared to the other games. I prefer feeling like James Bind than whatever Snake is going to be in TPP( probably rambo).
I love these bank heist missions, definitely a top 5 mission in the series
I agree. This is one of the most fun mission ever! There where a few beast missions in Pandora Tomorrow too, i prefer the missions from that one over those from the first game.
Bank Mission in double agent was the best
That 25c/hour joke cracked me up.
Good work there, Fisher and Lambert!
Been a fan of this series since its dawn. Now replaying CT on my PC with a beast graphics card, man is it smooth.
silly question but what kind of controllers do PC players use? mouse and keyboard or an actual controller. never tried pc but thinking about it. any basics will be helpful
P. Charmin I picked up the Xbox 360 controller compatible with a PC from Amazon, it works wonders. I purchased Chaos Theory on Steam when it went on sale, something like 6 or 7 bucks I think. The controller is mainly for platformers and racing/flying games. For SC titles, I HAD to have a controller because that's how we played back in the day of course :D
Im jelly man. Im gonna do the exact same thing and once Im done, going straight to coop. I even added people that are lag free, good times.
mouse and keyboard for this is so easy, never tried controller and never needed to.
chaos theory is on sale again and it's 10 bucks
This game was fantastic in so many ways. Just legendary.
Still better than GTA V Online Heists.
Mission FailedPlayer Disconnected
no shit m9 splinter cell rapes all games
Yeah especially when your team fails one of the objectives and you have to restart the heist.
Wha? Lol
Waaaaaaaay better.
at 10:03 if you grab the guard named Paco then Fischer will say hi paco, I appreciate you opening the door for me.. It's quite funny actually
I remember this now that you mention it lol.
Old school, it's hard to see good games like this today...
They should've never replaced Ironside.
My thoughts exactly
Heard Ironside had enough of the game's direction, they never replaced him. I heard him saying when they first made splinter cell they asked ironside what sorta dialogues he wanted. So it was nothing fake on his end he was part of the script making.
+SnakeyXT They wanted to do mo-cap and he declined
he should've. it wasn't like they wanted the physical part they could use another guy for that. just look at mgs phantom pain.
+SilentTree +Matthew James +SnakeyXT +Wylie Coyote The mo-cap was the explanation that *Ubisoft* used, but it was only a half-truth. The truth is, at the time of _Blacklist,_ he had been diagnosed with some form of cancer (either prostate or colon or both... I don't remember). He still served as an advisor on Blacklist, and in his opinion, he had left the series in good hands.
Of course, when he _survived_ the cancer (he seriously thought he was going to die), he came back and (allegedly) will be doing the voice of Sam Fisher in the next Splinter Cell game.
Engaging, non-intrusive dialogue, excellent audio/visual quality and most of all: swift and precise playthrough execution.
You sir, have earned another subscriber.
I reinstalled this game a few days ago, and it´s way more harder than I remembered.
Does anyone else think Long Dan would be a great name for a porn star?
Dong Lan
Well, historically, there was a porn star in the 1960s or 1970s who worked under the name "Long Dong Silver".
@@Griezz how tf do you know that
This game was the shit, too bad the new ones are dumbed down for the kiddies.
Blacklist is anything but dumbed down. It's actually one of the hardest Splinter Cell's to stealth through.
+1 I hate conviction and blacklist
***** Did you even play Blacklist? You can get through the entire game without killing anybody, so you're just flat out wrong about that.
hitdoctor24 There IS an achievement you can get in Single Player for not killing anyone in the campaign, so this is true.
davefan16 With that said, I'm glad I've never played them. I never even played the first two?
Splinter Cell: Oceans Eleven Style..
I loved this game..
and this mission:
Keep calm and rob this bank.
I love the music on this level
Movie level
Possibly my favorite Splinter Cell mission ever. Absolutely awesome.
I feel like this game was ahead of it's time
Definitely my favorite mission! I still play this game even now! If you didn't know, next time you're in the President's office, by the door, go up to the painting on the wall for a special surprise! ;)
You mean the last conviction mission ??
u get a small locker which has a golden secret brick inside, its actually useless but its S H I N Y and you can throw it on guards 😂
I love Sam's commentary and comedy. ".25 cents and not a penny more" Sam: "deal"
My favorite mission in all of the Splinter Cell series.
This was always one of my favorite video game levels, period.
Of all the splinter cell games, THIS mission is my favorite
The classic.
my favorite mission, of my favorite game, of all time. Splinter Cell cannot be the same unless it expands upon this basic platform.
I've come back to this game over the years, and it always gives the best stealth experience.
This is one of my favorite missions next to SC1's Kalinatek level.
twotailedavenger I hated kalinitek
The dialog in this game is so great.
This just renewed my love for the splinter cell games
Just started playing this game and didn't realise you could do half the stuff you did here.
I literally took out every guy on a computer to access them. Had no idea I had the remote...
My favorite level in my favorite Splinter Cell/Stealth game. Just loved doing this on 100%, made me feel like a genius spy mastermind when I was a kid. Every Splinter Cell after this was a disapointment for me (haven't played blacklist yet)
+ironeise Try completing this level without even touching a single enemy. It is at least according to my experience the only mission that can be completed this way.
"Oh, right. Bankers. Evil." - Sam Fisher.
I've been playing this game taking out all the guards. It seems it'll feel more like a stealth game when I sneak around like you do and act like a real spy. Thanks man :)
I completely bypass the first retinal scanner. The room on the left(when you get to the bottom of the rope in the lobby) has a bathroom attached to it. While the guards are talking about the dude singing while he goes to the bathroom/their itchy uniforms, go into the bathroom, crawl through the vent, and you'll come out in the utility closet next to the camera/exit sign that's on the other side of the retinal scanner. Just turn off the light before opening the door, and you don't have to worry about the camera.
You are a pro!!! I salute you. You did not take out one single guard on the map😱 you are the true Splinter Cell player!🙂🙌
The last true Splinter Cell. Maybe Blacklist, but this is Splinter Cell.
Dude you are legend! I was looking everywhere for the last computer to get 100% Thank you very much.
I watched a few mission and i tried over and over again, but I play it on the original Xbox, and I failed so many times, you make it look so easy. i have the entire collection of splinter cell and I love all these games, I will NEVER get rid of them.
Wow, you played this level completely different from me! It shows how well designed this game is, and how many options it gives you :3
Also, nice job on getting all zeros at the end. Not a single guard knew you were there, aha :3
Best Splinter Cell game ever
I had this game for GameCube.
This is the original xbox Chaos Theory, in PS2, the levels were built differently.
Yeah I hate how the PS2 levels are broken up into parts, but oh well.
yeah but hes playing it on ps3 as part of splinter cell hd trilogy
Jeepers Scoob o they were not built differently
Thanks a million.
100% at 29:16 and all objectives complete.
NICE! This and the Displace International levels are 2 of my top favorite levels in these games! I heard there's supposed to be an updated reboot coming out-have y'all heard anything? If so, I hope the keep the DNA and spirit of THESE classic Splinter Cell games.
I love the classic music that plays during this mission xS
It's been 12 years since I played this game and forgot most of the steps, thanks homie
Such a fun mission. I play this one constantly just to explore & complete it different ways
"Have you been briefed?"
"Wha'eva"
Goddamn that line always killed me as a kid 😂🤤
I loved this mission when I played it. I would die when you ko one of the guards in the beginning, its funny what they say! :)
This was my favorite mission in the game. =]
holy shit, all the years of playing this game I had no idea you could get to the security office that way. SOOO much easier than trying to sneak past those guards walking around the laser grid
You grab one guy near the computer, then carry him through the laser grids. It's actually easier and quicker than what was shown in this video.
Best stealth game ever.
Yea this mission is one of my favorites too! I used to play this on ps2
When News talked about offshore banks in Panama(a scandal they said) i remembered this mission...
LOL, I didn't think of that till now. Nice one
LOL, I didn't think of that till now. Nice one
Nice
And David Cameron
Thanks man i was dumb and didn't notice you could hack things from a distance and i got stuck by the fan in the vents. :) Grear video!
Love your videos man :)
Still one of my favorite games i still play it today and its has good now when it first came out .
Keep it up my friend you play it like I like to and you are helpful for many people nice work!
this is some hardcore stealth! I like it. Although I don't understand how you can fall and land inches away from a guy in a chair and he doesn't sense the vibration.
I’m finally playing through Chaos Theory and watched this after I completed this level. I definitely played it the longer way not knowing about the alternative path(s). It’s interesting that the guards didn’t turn the lights back on outside. I don’t get why as to whenever I cut the lights, a guard always came over and turned the lights back on.
You nailed this level good job...I LIKE!!!
Hi mate you are a master of stealth i dig all the splinter cell games original & chaos theory are the best ones you vids are brilliant very immersive have a good one my friend 😀
Commenting to help out with the ratings. This is my favorite mission in the entire splinter cell series. One thing I have noticed is UbiSoft always has a level with a ship in it but never has a level as good as the bank mission. It would be nice to have more levels like this one.
The computer just before the vault contains information that you already found on the previous mission. If you missed it there, you can find it here.
The Turtle is hilarious. He's only on the comms for one level, yet I like the guy.
In the office where the last authorization panel exists, near the door there is a painting. If you get close you can interact with that and move it. Behind there is a mini vault where you can find a small gold statue or something like that. Once you find it you can only throw it away... And that's all folks...
I remember when this game came out being so blown away by the graphics and suspense from the stealth, and no, I´m not a conviction-blacklist hater but ubisoft only got it half right with those
Loving your walkthrough
I lack way too much brain cells to play this game without watching a walkthrough. Thank you.
Absolutely love this game
This level is so awesome. I agree.
4:57 NEVER KNEW YOU COULD DO THAT!!!! BAAAAAH
"Make it back for the Fourth of July, I'll show you one heck of a good time"
"Wouldn't miss it for the world"
Ends up missing it and survives missile strike that sank The Walsh.
Your walk-through is awesome Sir
Love the soundtrack as well as the series.
I have been through this game several times and I got in the habit of turning the laser grid back on after I leave the area where the rope is you need to climb down.
Just for shits n giggles lol
Centerstrain01: I enjoy your walkthroughs, particularly the perspective from which you make decisions. I'll try to get over my aversion to FB's soft take on Russian infiltration into our country. Thanks for keeping up on YT. Cheers!
Man, the guards in the beginning actually put the lights back on when I was trying to leave
easily the best of all the Splinter Cell games, not played the newest one yet though
You know it's sad that this is the only play through of chaos theory I could find and this video is 9 YEARS OLD
I just bought the HD collection for PS3. I know, I know, awful excuse for a port and all that, but I'm not getting an original Xbox or Xbox 360 when I already have two consoles xD. Thankfully, no major problems so far, and now I can fully benefit from this walkthrough :D
Very very good video! You teached me so much!!!
Very very good video! You teamheadkick me so much!
Thanks u helped me beat that level on the first exbox it was hard
It's like me amd this guy have a shared mind. Like me this is his favourite Splinter Cell game and also loves this level.
YOU HAVE HAVE THE BEST WALKTHROUGHS
Did you know. You could get behind the retinal scaner trough the airvent, that guards in the security room were takling about, it's moar stealthy, sneaky, I hear what you're sayin', Sam Fisher way to get trough. :D But your vids rocks !
Never saw this east way really thanks
When I was younger I could not figure out how to crack the vault. That " turtle" guy makes this mission just that much more enjoyable.
What I like about this game is that there's nothing about it that's outdated apart from the graphics but that's understandable.
that's it, I was literally stuck trying to complete this mission
Love the background music!
In one take, Congratulations mate.
You are amazing bro !!
Awesome Video completed the mission without taking out a single guard and didnt get seen pure ghost.
