E46 M3 headers / straight pipes

There are 2 accelerations at the beginning, then skip to 1:28 and 3:47 for two more.
Exhaust is fabspeed headers, stock section 1 and 2, and no rear section.
I was changing the stock muffler our for a Megan racing Exhaust, and before I put the new one on we took it out for a drive.
Microphone is tucked between the cushions in the backseat.

What a sound, they downshifts are incredible, I have a Euro spec e46 m3, so thankfully save myself the cost of headers, I shall be having my existing done in a few weeks, one resonator and straight all the way back, this video has cemented the idea, nice car sir and that you for uploading, MMMM POWAAAAA
I have a euro spec E46 too but not an M3, only a 320Ci, are the cats not in the headers there?

@@aamaca3790 The cats are in the headers as i said xD Only in the M3 they aren't and headers with new cats cost too much, removing the cats also isn't an option here in germany

Thank you, it was the most raw sound I've ever heard. Yes the muffler was removed and it was coming right out of section 2 under the car.

It's crazy how my M42 makes almost the exact same sound. But I've noticed most BMW's generate similar exhaust tone. That raspy rally and throaty at the same time sound.

Ferocious sound! Solid pulls. Just out of curiosity, had you repaired/reinforced your subframe prior to making this video?
Thanks! I actually replaced the subframe bushings with AKG polyurethane bushings and put in the Turner reinforcement kit about a month after making this video. The was about a 1 inch hairline crack by the left rear subframe mounting point. The bushings were shot and it was starting to clunk in the rear and I had already done the diff bushings about six months prior.
how you keep off the light on the dash (because you deleted the cats)?

So you still have the cat and resonator?
No the cats are built into the headers so those are gone, but the resonators in section 1 and 2 are still there.

Setup?
YungSav16 fabspeed headers stock sections 1 and 2 with no muffler. I just wanted to go around the block before putting in a Megan racing muffler.
