Hello Linda
Thanks for Janettes garden tour. She is a brilliant person with a fantastic personaliity. I have an empathy with her.
What a lovely garden! I love the new garden beds added in the grass area. It filled out beautifully...really turned out well. I love the selection of different plants that make it interesting and colorful. The mirrored gate is very clever...but, can birds fly into that, thinking it's an open space? It looks very nice, though. I like the office idea...overlooking the garden. It's so private and intimate. Thank you, Janette and Linda, for sharing another wonderful garden tour. :)
Thank you so much for watching. I’ve never had any birds fly into it, I’d take it down if that ever happened. Thanks so much for watching 😍
I love plumbago! This was my first year growing it and I'm in love. What a beautiful garden. I love when she says something like ' it turned out so well I decided to do it again" and cut out more of the lawn. I LOVE the illusion gate.
Thanks you so much lovely garden and lovely lady ! Cheers
Great video and I LOVE that cute yellow top you had on! love, hugs, prayers.

Thank you Linda for sharing The Enthusiastic Gardener channel with us. Lovely to see a UK garden, complete with rain.... you can't get more English than that!! Interesting to compare how the same plants develop in different environments, climates and countries.
Hi Una, thank you as always for your fabulous comments 😍
What a lovely space. Great ideas and lots of love is evident in this garden. Thank you!

Hi Janette! I was wondering if that was really you when i saw your pic on Linda's channel🤩. I subscribe to yours as well. Lovely garden, but this is the first time i saw your illusion gate. So clever & i wish theres a spot for one in mine!!
@@joywalsh7072 hello Joy!! Yes it was me 🥰 I’m sure you could find a little corner for a garden illusion gate 😊 I love mine xx
A Beautiful and a Marvellous garden.
Thank you Alfred, so kind of you 😍
I loved your illusion garden gate. So creative. I also liked how you showed your garden at night time with the lighting. Linda, I would love to see your guard at night as well. I’m sure it is beautiful!
I love the color of your fence and the illusion gate! Everything is beautiful!
Oh thank you so much 😍
How on earth did I miss this jewel of a video?! I am a fan of both of these lovely ladies and their beautiful gardens. Janette your garden is truly a magical and happy place...it shows your high-spirited warm personality throughout! Oh and BTW that fountain garden is to die for..just perfect.
Thank you, Janette. That was so inspiring. I love the eclectic collection of plants and also paraphernalia in the garden. I got some good ideas. Love how you maximised your small space. Thanks for your calm presentation.
Hi there and thank you so much for such lovely comments 😍
@@TheEnthusiasticGardener I especially love the red London phone booth

Hi Jeanie, thank you so much, and yes my dogs are little cuties 😍
What a gorgeous garden, so well cared for.
Thank you so much Mimi 😍
Beautiful garden, so neat and tidy!
Wow! an absolutely delightful garden. Lovely imaginative planting with a great water feature. I also live in a bungalow in England, so your video was of particular interest to me. I shall check out your channel. Thank you for sharing your garden.
"The Linda Vater" treatment is very funny! Linda, you might be interested to know that your surname is used as a verb in our Australian garden - anything that has been clipped, topiarized and graveled has been "Vatered", but all to very pleasing effect! Hugs and appreciation from Australia!
Thank you so much - yes I think that will be in the English Oxford Dictionary soon 🤣🤣
Thank you for the tour! Nice💜
Thank you so much Pamela 😍
“The Linda Vater treatment”. Best way to explain how I want my garden to look💗
🤣🤣 yes Ev, we all need some Linda Vater treatment 😍
Loved this video. I love that she went thru each plant. Here again took notes for more ideas!
Hi Glenda, thank you so much for your wonderful comments 😍
I love the garden. The mahonia has really caught my eye. Great ideas.
Thank you so much Judy, you HAVE to get a Mahonia, they are fabulous 😍
Beautiful gardens! I love the trellis panels & wish I could get some for my garden! Just beautiful even tho the rain tried to sabotage the day. The gardens won out anyway😉
Beautiful garden with so many different plants and lovely whimsical ornaments adorning the garden and fence. The illusion gate is amazing along with the branch trellis! Thank you for sharing it with us!
Loved looking at this garden!. I liked her attitude toward adding new flower beds and removing parts of the grass to be able to get them. The Illusion gate may be my favorite new idea for my own garden. Thanks to both of you for this lovely garden tour.
Love her cyclamen. Little jewels of the garden and beautiful garden . Happy gardening
If the weather in the winter only goes to about 28 degrees Fahrenheit, you should be able to leave the cannas in the ground. I love you cat. I like the idea of an illusion gate as I have a cement path that follows the side of the house and dead-ends at a fence. I would be nice to have the illusion that the cement path continues through a gate.
What a beautiful garden! I just bought a tiny leatherleaf mahonia this fall and it is wonderful to see such a large specimen. Also love the euonymus topiaries and the illusion gate is priceless!
Thank you!
Thank you so much Iza for your lovely comments 😍
@@TheEnthusiasticGardener Janette I subscribed to your channel - I love this style of garden :)
Iza Szydlowska you are amazing, thank you, I’m so grateful 😍
Hello Lotti, thank you for the inspiration and garden design ideas. USA
Hey, Janette! Awesome tour! The obelisk at the beginning of your tour is gorgeous! I love all of the fuchsias, the boxwood-lined path, and the illusion gate. Your new bed looks amazing. It filled in nicely. My hubby doesn’t want me to take up anymore grass either. 🤫 I’ve already made plans for another bed. 🤣
Oh! And those Chinese Lanterns are fabulous!!! 💚
Beautiful! I noticed that the obelisk at the beginning is made of a metal structure that are the same as the plastic ones you painted! Yours look identical, amazing. 😀 Thanks for sharing your friend’s gardens with us. ❤️ Blessings
Thank you so much for your lovely comments Joy 😍
Love the faux gate mirror. I think the fence is the perfect color for the garden.

Thank you so very much 😍
Love your garden! Thank you for sharing with us.
Love the garden and illusion gate. You have done a super job!
Try growing a Crepe Myrtle but one that has brilliant intense blooms, not the pale pastel colors. Google ..for Crape Myrtle nurseries in the States. You can also plant an intense colored bougainvillea plant, again google nurseries in the States.I don’t see these plants in very many British home gardens, but the inclusion of these in your garden will be very much welcomed and appreciated by you. I think they will do just fine in England. Now crepe Myrtle is a very messy shrub/ tree in a tight area, but trust me it’s blooming is fantastic and it’s bark quite lovely. You will look forward to it blooming every year.If Blackfoot daisy is available in England ,purchase several for your most sunny spot, you will love their intense fragrance which is very uplifting.Lovely garden, such a wonderfully rewarding retreat for a gentle soul.
Thank you so much, such great advice! I will google all these 😍
Looks like Charlie Demmer has been in your garden!
A garden that makes me smile...Beautiful!
Her little doggie is so cute! Along with her Garden!
I dont think I ever seen half of her plants and flowers in my life ( I live in the US in 7b zone). And I never seen a gray painted fence. Its all beautiful! Thank-you both for the video:D
Oh thank you Nannetta, isn’t it strange that we only have the same plants in our areas? I wish I could grow succulents but they wouldn’t last in England. Thank you so much for watching 😍
How wonderful to be able to have that view while working. Thanks for sharing The Enthusiastic Gardner with us.🌸
Thank you so much Diane 😍
Beautiful garden🍁🍁🍁
Thank you so much Judy 😍
I'd commute to work in your office! Lovely color everywhere and fabulous stone patio. The variegated heather is especially nice but doesn't seem to grow well in the north Midwest USA.
