Linda, your friend Sammie gives me such courage! I thank you both for pointing out the strategies Sammy and her husband used to deal with the challenges (such as the utility boxes) and the creative touches throughout that are presented with such honesty about care and maintenance. The whole of this visit is so appreciated! What an inspiration!
I know we are all here for the lovely garden tour but can we just talk a little about the ensemble that Linda has donned? Absolutely stunning. I always look forward to what you are wearing as well as the information that you provide.
I live on a corner lot and there is a constant trickling of dog walkers, joggers and strollers. I liked that she mentioned that she needed privacy and explained how she remedy the issue. So elegant and not obvious of the issue she had. Watching your videos Linda has really helped me to enjoy my time in my backyard. Gradually I'm obtaining more hope that one day a lovely remedy will arise where I can enjoy my front yard as much as my backyard. Thank-you and I love what your doing.
What a gem of a garden. This shows how simplicity in a small space can show elegance and impact. Every aspect is so tasteful-and best side walkway ever (with flagstone, gravel, small shrubs, mondo)!
OH WOW, this has really got my mind going over some things I can do in my yard. What a sweet lady (Ms. Sandy), her landscape exudes her personality so peaceful and kind.
Love the birdbath and the orbs. The porch way are is just delightful, we don’t seem to have those here in England. You said the word ‘charming’ and that is the perfect description for this wonderful garden. That bar arch is a fabulous idea, wonderful. I cannot wait to see part 2!
Loved this garden. It has a simplistic form of elegance that is understated but upon closer observation it reveals its hidden beauty and practicality! You delivered another gem Linda. Thank you!
what a beautiful garden!!! I just loved all of it. The porch looked so peaceful and just so inviting. I loved those large shutters they are just incredible! I can't think of anything I didn't love! I can't wait to see the back garden now. I love those birdbaths and the green was so beautiful the way the light with the water and glass just shine. Thank you for showing us such lovely gardens all the time.
Wow Linda I absolutely love your friends front porch and driveway, I would like to add more gravel to our property. I love everything about it, and she has great taste I could tell. I can wait to see part II. Have a great weekend, thank you to Stewart your camera man. 😃
What a cozy and beautiful garden. Absolutely charming ! Common plants into uncommon just like you said...., I like the way looks simple but still beautiful.
What a lovely garden tour. I so love the bird bath, and envy the porch area. We don't seem to have porches like you do in England (and I wish we did)! How extraordinary that I have the self same statue in my garden. We call her Demeter - goddess of the harvest. I found her in an antique shop specialising in garden statuary. Another gorgeous video. Thank you so much Linda.
Wonderful garden, I'm waiting for part 2, or, maybe, even part 3.... And you, Linda, look just amazing in your outfit!!! Thank you so much for this video.
Hi Linda!! I just love these tours!! So inspirational !! You are so informative Linda! Until I started watching your videos I never appreciated how beautiful a "green" garden could be!! I always thought you needed flowers for beauty but boy have you showed me how wrong I was!! Take care and I will see you in the next one! Hugs!! :)
Linda, is there a tour of the inside of Sammie’s beautiful home? I was blown away by her front and back yards, an would love to see her decor style inside her house!!!
@@LindaVater Morning. I have put away my garden for the winter, so I will be checking your channel for my garden fix. Btw...I have added my name to my channel (inspired by you) and added life style to my channel. I added a video of my indoor space. I used the same design principle as the garden inside, eclectic.
What is a 'patio home'? Oh, by the way, love the skirt, was I the only one thinking we were about to have a 'wardrobe malfunction'? Great video, you have lovely neighbors.
Porcelain berry vine is listed as invasive in many states. It does nothing for wildlife. Please do research for your locale. It may not be on the invasive list for OK.
Oh my goodness what a lovely retreat! Regarding that beautiful bird bath -- Do you have to clean it often? I imagine leafs and debris blowing into it as well as algae growth. What's the maintenance level?
To viewers in other areas: Porcelain berry vine is on the invasive plant list for states in the Northeast down to Virginia and west to Michigan. Maybe it's not invasive in OK, but please do the research for your area. It is gorgeous, but after finding this out, I won't plant it in upstate NY. It provides nothing for wildlife.
@@LindaVater I watched your video a few months ago on 5 plants NOT to plant. That was so helpful to me and really raised my awareness of invasiveness. Thank you.
I have porcelain berry in my yard that was here when we moved in. We are 7b Georgia and it is near impossible to remove and comes up everywhere especially along my vegetable garden fencing and in the vegetable beds. Be careful. The pretty berries are not worth the hassle in our area. The vine get thick and hard runs deep and spreads rampantly.
~~ y'know, y'all really might not need to wear masks while over six feet apart, & outdoors in the fresh, open air! Great Jaegermeister bottle birdbath!
I love to see you being careful and respecting each other's safety. The commenter may be misinformed, at many points during the video you guys are literally standing shoulder to shoulder and looking at each other while speaking so a mask was imperative whether you are outside or not.

I Second that notion
Agree! Linda is inspirational all around! 🥰
Aint she stylish though??!

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE her yard! I can't wait for part 2. This is one of my favorites!
I’m so glad!

Love the rebar arches
I just found that porcelain vine growing wild on the back fence. It is beautiful. Guess the birds planted it. Beautiful, elegant garden !
That was so interesting and beautiful! It once again proves that you don’t need a lot of land to have an elegant garden. Thanks Linda! 💕
It is enviable to have such a talent for landscaping and thank you for sharing your ideas.
What a wonderful display for such a small area. Love your continual use of boxwoods. Very tidy; which I adore! Thank you.

This one really hit me. With such a small space here, lots of ideas!! Thank you both so much for your time and talent!

I think how they close the shutters. The lamp is in the way 🤨🧐🤔
These yard tours give me thrilling ideas! The rebar arches are ingenious. In a shady location I could see planting kiwi vine on these.
What a lovely porch area! Can't wait to see the back yard

That house pillow! Cute
So many neat things in this garden. I love the orbs and the porcelain vine. Those berries are such pretty colors. Thank you so much for the tour❤️💜❤️
Wonderful garden, I'm waiting for part 2, or, maybe, even part 3.... And you, Linda, look just amazing in your outfit!!! Thank you so much for this video.
The porcelain berry look amazing! I haven't been able to find the hardiness for it.
Porcelain berry is drowning our woods in the east (I can speak for Maryland and Pennsylvania). It is invasive and I have to patrol for it frequently.
Absolutely charming in every aspect❣️So many great ideas. Thank you for sharing!!!

Ahhhhh got to go see the 2nd part now!! What a beautiful garden!! ❤️
So many awesome design ideas. Would you please share the artist who made the green birdbath?
@LindaVater, yes please share the artist. Love these tours!

Very very nice beautiful video friend
Thanks
Beautiful 🤩
Does the artisan who does the beautiful mosaic bird baths have a website? I need one!!!
Beautiful!
From a distance i thought that was a water feature 😂...omg, how cool is that?
Wow!!
I saw Stewart or Stuart’s reflection in the glass door 😂😂😂😂
Love this tour! 💜
Loved it 😍
Really beautiful 🤗👌
Any way to get a link to the birdbath artist?

I believe 1 story ranch style home.
Love it!!
😻🙏🙏 would've lived to see the interior of the house
Porcelain berry vine--I'm going to buy this one!!
Love the cobblestones. I am wondering are they difficult to shovel for snow removal? Love the lariope.
Love this garden! Must get a porcelain vine. Have seen it before

19:00 love live porcelain berry vine.
I love the big rocks but the people’s is that the same kind you use? So pretty and clean
S/b pepples/gravel
Very similar:)
Love the tour. AND. The porcelain berry vine?
Yes:)
Can and do all those plant pots stay out all year in your zone 7?
Hi Linda great tour! What kind of vine was that?
Porcelain berry:)
Linda Vater when is part 2? Can’t hardly wait! Thanks and your yard is outstanding🙂
How do they keep weeds out of the gravel?
It’s a pretty thick layer so isn’t much of a problem!

I hope people realize now how unneeded it is to wear a mask outside.. inside as well!
Love that skirt

🦵😁.
Linda leave your skirt alone at one point I could almost see undies
I loved everything except the masks. I like seeing your face.
I was glad you took your silly masks off at the end at last...
A mask outside 🤦♀️👩🌾
When standing close, absolutely
@@LindaVater Absolutely!
Don't forget to wear your mask , very important
