A suggestion for those that want to grow taller sprouts. Buy some additional trays, then cut out the bottoms of the new trays and use them as spacer rings. Place one between each sprouting tray. You will then have twice as much growing height.
This video was so well made and informative. Thank you. I'll be using my Victorio 4 tray sprouter today.
I have been using mine for about 8 months. It works great but I wish the trays were about 1 inch taller then it would be perfect for everything.
Space out when you start the trays, maybe every other day start a new tray, then you get a continuous supply and not a whole bunch all at once.
Thank you very much for making this great video. It covers so more info & expertise and in such a light-hearted fashion. The combination of animation, live-action, time lapse and back ground music make it so enjoyable to watch.
I just picked up a different company's 3-tray seed sprouter at a thrift shop. It looks brand new but, didn't have any instructions with it. I am sure that I will be successful sprouting my own seeds. I will definitely enjoy viewing your other videos. Thanks again.
Fantastic video. Incredible attention to detail and thoughtfulness!
I really like the looks of this sprouter and I hope to get one soon. I just have to comment on the video it self. I find Mark's soothing voice and the strange but equally soothing music to be a great sleeping tonic. I have watched this video a couple of times just for the sedative like effect. It is so lovely thank you.
I didn't watch the whole video
Ice cream music puts me to sleep.
Easiest and most efficient sprouting set up I've seen so far. Only $15 too. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you for your clear demonstration, the video was perfect.
you have tiny hands! this thing is so small. 3 inch radius!!! i'm drunk and just got it in the mail, great video! But it came with free seeds, not even mentioned in the sale, pretty sweet!
you are drunk. lol.
+kitsurubami you're too funny!~
I enjoyed your video very much! Thank you for taking the time to make it.
One thing they should add to this sprouter is a ventilated lid to put on the top tray so it does not dry out faster than the ones below it, and to keep any flying insects out.
+alan30189 I just use a kitchen towel or flour sack cloth and a rubber band.....works like a charm. ;)

Use a cheese cloth or something similar.
Great video I just picked one of these up.
Perfect video thanks.
I ordered mine yesterday along with other stuff :)
awesome video, thank you so much for making it.
Question...you say soaking is not necessary but in the instructions I got with mine, it says to. What is your reasoning for not doing since I would rather skip that stage. Thanks.
Raw Nutrition if really good. Thanks for the info
Very nice thank you...
With this sprouter soaking is not needed.
MrDove01 Which types of seeds are your sprouting? Is the water draining properly between waterings?
I've always been instructed to soak my seeds for 12-24 hours prior. Is this not really required? Should I soak them before adding them to the trays?
I'm on my second attempt but so far it is not going well. They start to smell bad around the 3rd or 4th day. By the 5th or 6th day I have to throw them out. I'm also doing it side-by-side with my easy sprout and the Victorio is taking much longer.
Hi, Can this sprouter be used for garbanzo beans, moong beans, black eyed peas and green peas?
Geena Suclavas Yes you can sprout beans but you will need to soak them before putting them in the sprouter. It is best suited for sprouts like alfalfa, broccoli, red clover etc.
This might be a silly question, but I live in a tropical climate. Will this attract roaches? Thank you!
+Laura K Roaches are more attracted to oil/grease than growing vegetation. If the sprouts start to spoil though it will attract gnats :(
Wait, did he really say you can Sprout Kale?
curly sue Yes, you can sprouts kale seeds. Kale seeds grow just like broccoli seeds.
Can this be used to germinate wheat berries?
+walter byrd It wouldn't give the best results. If you are spouting the berries to use as sprouted wheat grain a simple jar and lid or screen is best as it does require lots of rinsing.
Can this be used for wheatgrass
Heather Fraire No wheatgrass, only seeds like alfalfa, red clover, broccoli etc.
Can you do wheatgrass in it?
Unfortunately no, this is more for seeds like alfalfa, broccoli, clover etc. You can use the Sproutman's wheatgrass Grower instead.
Good review, love the product. :) The animated guy in the video was a bit spooky and the audio was extremely loud one moment then soft the next moment, maybe a different mic would help you.
