As you mentioned, the chasm was a ocean and the fossils show that. Also the wildlife in the depths is so cool. They glow because these animals are surrounded by lumenstone, so they evolved to take advantage of it.
May not be related to the video but the Chasm holds a special place in my heart. Exploring the Chasm was like a massive breath of fresh air after all the the exploring of Inazuma It lowkey reminded me of the same joy and fun I had when we first explored Monstadt and Liyue ALSO XIAO MAIN CHARACTER MOMENT HAD ME GRIPPING FOR DEAR LIFE
It's a "bit" creepy I guess but it's also serene and very beautiful. Some very memorable quests inside (Katarina.. I'll never forget your fire water.) One of my favorite areas to explore.
@@ItsJustT Would be cool if you make a part 2 after the 4.3 MSQ showing before/after. I'm not sure if they are actually planning to expand the chasm or just have the story take place in an existing area but "something" will probably be different (lighting, new enemy, additional assets etc.. ). Might wanna grab some B-roll footage before that.
i really loved The Chasm, it give me senses of mysterious , exploration and RPG elements and at the end of each routes it has has something at the end.
A really cool thing about the Lumenstone tool thingy is that it iluminates your surrowdings based on how many charges you have. Increasing the satisfaction of upgrading it by showing your progress all the time. And glowing in a dark place also helps in that "feeling like your doing good for the place" in genshin quite well. Chasm is so underrated frfr

Even if it's just a small iteration, but the Caribert Archon Quest and Nahida's second Story Quest also return to the Chasm for some more lore that links it also to Sumeru
Damn, you barely released the video and Hoyo already screwed it up trying to make the game beginner friendly... (apparently players can skip having to do the world quest to get to the AQ Interlude Acts)
@@RimFaxxe bro despises it 💀 I will say, it wasn't as memorable as something like Dragonspine for some reason. Maybe just because it isn't a natural, cheery paradise like most environments in genshin. It's why I love every nations locations besides Fontaine and Inazuma

Yep completely agree. Best region so far
agree, the only region in genshin that i have 100% exploration and also the namecard lol
the hours i spent trying to solve the compass puzzle only to discover u have to destroy a bush destroyed me
The moment that Yanfei showed up, I, a Yanfei main, was screaming. Not just internally.
lmfao it's not something I expected bc she didn't have much relevance prior to the chasm

definitely beautiful and serene, but I have my suspicions of Enkanomiya and like to give each topic of my videos a unique description and argument

It was scary indeed, if only fearing for the NPC and Xiao.
thanks for talking about the chasm! this is my favourite region in genshin

giving me a run for my money with your analysis here lol
Nahida's second story quest explains a bit about the mud in the chasm too!
It been awhile mate..care to explain?

I actually enjoyed exploring chasm.
The Chasm is by far one of the best zones. I hope more content gets added to it.
Finally some of love for The Chasm!!! My favorite area in the whole game!
I’m hoping the chasm gets an expansion. I personally like exploring the place.
The chasm and enkonomiya have to be my 2 fave places it’s so eerie 😊
And Tsurumi Island?
@@firenze1 bingo
I often explore chasm every 3 days because I like farming stones in it. it refreshed every 3 days :)
nice!!
Two places i dont return unless its absolutely necessary. Dragonspine and the chasm💀
I love Dragonspine, not the chasm. However, I don't really return anywhere besides sumeru lmao. You're a saint for still watching this despite that

They can skip although they can do the quest because it's not deleted..I guess players would eventually do it cause primogems
Pretty cool video, you do talk very fast too.
You speek fast friend slow down 😅. Next time talk about Enkanomya
The Chasm still has some unanswered questions. Like what was the upside down city?
oh yeah right. Defo abyss related bc of the quest + defiled statue
The warden is indeed terrifying and gives me heart palpitations XD
saying heart palpitations followed with XD is the best thing I've seen all day istg

same

@@RimFaxxe fair. It's very bland and bleak underground, and even the surface just feels hot and dusky
The meteor arrived way before the Archon War, no?
on the thing I read it said otherwise, tho I could prolly be wrong. Not big on genshin lore
@@ItsJustT I read somewhere that the meteor arrived when Morax was young.
❤
the horror of the chasm is how boring it is
