Rod/reel combo with fishing kit as an emergency setup ruclips.net/user/postUgkxntWMOZsO1Zfv-pdn_XuffEtNkTYAYu4Z recommend but started to use this every day. The rod is thick and seems durable. I keep it neatly tucked into a regular backpack all the time with my fishing gear, and can grab it anytime, put it on my back and go anywhere. I just read in another review that the rod length below the reel is adjustable as well, so I will try that too for even more portability. Probably the best setup I've ever owned. I lost the cap for the eyelets, but no big deal since I still have the black cloth sheath that came for the pole and I use that. Very portable and high quality.
Two good guys passionate about fishing keeping anglers entertained and informed for years... and they're bringing us more! Aaron's time and experience put into thoughtfully designing new tools for our trade, a bonus for everyone. Support 'em if you like, if you can, because they've already given plenty and will surely just keep bringing us more. Rods and lures looking great!!!
Very nicely done. Always sucks finding out stuff after development and ordering like the reel seat. You live and learn. Good job going for it and building your own. Look forward to seeing the future of Frostbite.
What a concept....a direct to customer company with affordable ,good no frills setup. I am ordering the 37ml smokeshow for walleye fishing here on Saginaw Bay....but yes I want a 19l for site fishing my pans. Thanks guys and best of luck with future endeavors
It's awesome that you guys are up-front about your products. That's rare in companies. Look forward to trying out these awesome looking rods! Great names too btw.
Aarons the man ! KEEP GOING!!! Your knowledge PASSION and expertise are OBV ...the details in the these product shows this. Wish you luck in this endeavor !!!!
If I had to choose between the royal flush and panastick which would be better is the panastick a lot little then the royal flush, going for panfish and maybe bass is what I want.
Ordered loads of lures and jigs. Thanks for those sweet colors dan on the jigs. Would really love to get a grey frostbite hoodie but their sold out when is the restock. You guys are amazing.
TSniper79 idk man, some shit is happening over there @ Frostbite lol. I ordered some rods last week, no email reply back, or expected ETA. I don’t think they have the rods I ordered in stock, checked tracking # and it’s not even in transit. I think they made the Medallion Recoils available for purchase but didn’t have any in stock...if you got a Burnt series, I’m sure you’ll get yours soon.
i think 19" is a little short for anything i do, i would be interested in a 22" ul glass rod for cisco, smelt and small whitefish. 22" HT ice blues has been my go to for that. i tried the clam meat stick and a few other more expencive pan fish rods and still keep buying the cheap 22 ul HT iceblues. i like it.
Why dont you come out on some of the home waters Peric we will go do some sight fishing on the chain o lakes! see why we have dozens of those little rods
Would love to see individual videos for each rod. Not just fishing but preferred setup like reel type/size, line preferences an so on. I know it always changes but it's nice to have a starting point. For instance, I just picked up the Royal Flush for an upcoming perch trip. Having never used a longer rod, it would be nice to have a starting point for a setup.
i would like 19 inch rod for fishing in a shelter, i have a couple 18" HT ice blues rods that i use as dead rods so i can make the best use of a relatively small space, especially because i tend to set up a cot and sleep on the ice. that little bit of extra room really does make a difference in my admittedly small shack. (hoping to get a bigger one this year). sight fishing is fun, but most of the places i fish, it's just not feasible. that said, i've also found that the kids and novice anglers i take out on the ice have an easier time handling the smaller rods. not sure why, but i've noticed that they land more fish (rather than losing them at the hole) and incur fewer tangles with the shorter rod.
I'm intrigued but I would have liked to hear what the warranty is on them. I will be ordering a few this week. Is there a warranty section on your website or?
Great stuff gents, little late in getting to know your babies, just curious since the video aired, has the reel-seat glitch been adressed? Thanks & kudos from Southwesterc QC

This is going to seem, weird but can I still buy say a royal flush with the messed up handle. I didn't buy one and now I want to add a flawed frostbite to my collection .
Can you jig a 1/4 oz. lure on the Dipstick? Or would that be too heavy? I got a great recommendation on your rods, and I want one bad, that I could jig walleyes and panfish on, and the largest I'd go with a lure would be 1/4 oz. Let me know @Fish Frostbite!
Nice rundown on these beauties. I think I know the answer....but...what do you think of using the dipstick for whitefish? The soft flex that keeps line tight is appealing, but does it have enough backbone for big whities?
I bought some bates before crappie season in Ohio and I smacked them with the little jigs and plastics they work for open water to I love the company since there American based even know the product they have aren’t all in America but you get the best quality for the price you pay and you guys know you have things to fix on your rods and that’s another reason why I love it and that they slay bluegill and crappie in any weather open water or on the ice no Mayer what they will catch you fish
@@lukeleblanc6663 all you need, handles 1/2 baits no problem. I’ve caught the majority of my lakers on that rod this year as I’ve liked the medium over the heavy, including a 32” 12 pound laker and a 8 pound walleye. I’ve never once set the hook and felt the fish was coming off on the true grit, it’s absorbs every shake the fish throws at you. I’d like to try the run and gun 50m but our laker spots are quickly dwindling away. If you’re not chasing trophy sized lakers that rod will be perfect for you.
Enjoyed the informative and fun video. I really like the design of the Mr. Big, but it won't fit in any of my rod cases. I'll be eyeballing the true grit and the dip stick, though.
*I like the way it feels **enjoyable.fishing** recommend and cast, time will tell I only used it once but it seems to work well....*

A little friction tape and a beer will make a reel fit where you want it to.
