- So K&F sent me there new Nano X Pro sereis 100mm square filter system, so what best to do with it that give it to Mrs C, see Denise use it for the first time. I have to say i love the way this works, maybe the best i have ever seen.

@@paulcomptonpdphotography I ordered a set yesterday from K&F and I hope it arrives before my trip to the Jersey shore to be with my family. Usually I order from B&H Photo but they were out of stock. I'll let you know how it goes. I do have one question. I saw your video about switching from Canon to Sony, but it appears you now have the Fujifilm mirrorless. How are you liking it?
I went from Sony to Canon then to Fuji. i love it but miss the power of Full Frame

K & F have really thought about this and come up with a winner there Paul. What a pity I bought their previous system only 12 months ago. The big failing with that is the fact that unfortunately you cannot fit/use a polariser with that system. Good review and well done Mrs C 📷👏

As you know, I don't get into all the techy side of things with camera gear I just enjoy playing and experimenting with my settings and filters so talking about what I'm doing is a bit nerve racking. 🤪
Thanks Paul, nice review may give them a go. Thought I could do without grads but not sure for those really bright sunsets and rises. The company K&F is doing a great rage of stuff for the photographer at a really good prices. Keep up the great vids mate.

I bought a cheap set of square filters a couple of years ago, just to see if I would use them. I haven't used the very much but I must admit I like the look of this system. I might have to invest.

Great video was looking at these filters not long ago but would mean me having to buy new filters. So I stuck to my Urth/Gobe filters
they are going to make a adaptor to take nowmall 100mm filters

Paul, do they produce weird colour cast on the ND filter sets? Did you do a comparison of without filter, 3stop, 6stop and 10stop for comparison? Cheers
i acually think they are ok... dont get me wrong i like Kase.. but these are very good
I brought the 10 stop and 15 stop filters and they are great. I also brought a set of 3 grads. My only complaint is I can get a case for the ND filters and a case for the Grad filters but I cannot get a K&F case for both at the same time (which just about everyone would want to do). I contacted K&F and they have no plans to make a case to carry both types at the same time. In the meantime I now have to carry two cases around with me. My question is do you know of a filter case that would carry both types (I have found loads) but with the frames on because they are not true 100x100 and 150x100 they are slightly larger with the frames. Many thanks.
i used to use a Lee case but not sure it will ork for your plans
Very nice that the control surfaces are big. So they can be used with gloves on.

if you have Kase i would stay with them, if your looking for a new kit this would be a good start

OK so since we looked at this is seems that the standard 100mm filter DO NOT fit in the holder. I am rather upset and ashammed i did not try anywhen we was out... This to me is very bad, BUT i heard that K&F are making a plastic holder to take standard 100MM filters, so to anser this yes they will in the end.. but for now NO.....

@@paulcomptonpdphotography thanks paul...i think until they do alot of people are not going to shell out for that system if they have spent alot of money on good filters that would be of no use for this system so k&f will do well to address this pretty quickly as most people wil have filters but the system itself how it works does look good

I bought the Nisi V7 last week with the natural light polariser and 6 and 10 stop ND's, but i will be buying Lee grads because they are a little better and also a lot cheaper than Nisi grads
If i may be so bold, i recomend Kase grads, they are far better than Lee i have used both..

I quite liked the look of this and ordered a kit. It's going straight back for a full refund. Unfortunately, the wheel that turns the CPL constantly jams. It will not turn freely except with the locking arm up and no CPL in place! Methinks as soon as that arm come down there is some flexing going on which the construction/tolerances do not allow for. Too clever for its own good perhaps?
Shocked mate, i have no issues with this one.. never had many issues with any of the K&F stuff i had
Sounds like you may have had a faulty set, I use them all the time when i'm out with Paul and not had any issues with them.

Maybe its because i do all the speaking and i know Denise does not really like it, i find it hard to staop.. Maybe you should tell her to use the camera on her own and ill walk off
