cheers dave! ive just ordered myself the nd1000+cpl kit with a couple extra frames - a light pollution filter and an nd32000... canny wait lad canny wait!
I just recently found and subscribed to your channel. So far I’m enjoying the content. I’m sure it’s been asked before, but can you point me at the info for the orange and white accent light behind you? Love that look!
Hi Cliff, welcome to the channel The accent light is done using a GVM 560AS light panel with the barn doors almost fully closed. ruclips.net/video/F8hWuMmJESc/видео.html
Each to their own. Are these really beneficial or an expensive distraction from 'real photography'. Please discuss? What % of 'serious' togs still go down this route? I have tried to use many filter systems on and off over many years. I always seem to end up disappointed, then abandon the idea for various reasons - mostly sheer faff, time to set-up, fingerprints on glass, dropped breakages or bulk in packing one of more decent systems, like Haida. It can be a massive expense vs. the ease and convenience of making adjustments in post (with the possible exception of a good polariser). I will occasionally use filters like a polariser or ND but nowadays they tend to be Hoya or B+H round old fashioned screw-on types to fit each lens (albeit sometimes I will resort to a step down ring). I used to shoot only stills, but currently I'm looking to see how best to get into video, now I have just taken delivery of a Sony a7iv. So for video, in filters I'm now exploring the merit of an 82mm variable ND 2-5 stops or 5-9 stops. Any views on these? Some reviews point to the very expensive Peter McKinion ii Polar Pro as best choice, but these are circa £250 in UK. Budget options from the likes of Hama are reported as c**p. Any views, I'm confused and conflicted. In re-selling (or trying to sell) old filter systems I find I'm getting the highest depreciation of any photo kit. Old Cokin - 100% loss - nobody wants old used total c**p. Quality system stuff costing £100's like Cromatek loss of circa 80%. I dread to think what % I might lose if I tried to eBay my Haida kit. All my Haida kit was bought for landscape use after your very positive reviews circa 2-3 years ago. I'm not casting blame, just pointing out that some kit, for me, adds little value and in retrospect can be seen as a mistake. By way of contrast, every time I buy quality glass from a well known brand like Nikon or Sony the % loss on resale is minimal. I can only conclude that quality will always be in high demand. Every few months someone else comes out with new, so say improved filter stuff Lee, Nisi, Kaisa, Haida etc etc. So nowadays I'm wary of investing in stuff that gets little use, then just sits in a cupboard until I decide to sell on at a big loss! How many others get 'burnt' by exposure to 'bad filters and systems'?
Love it, serious togs? Well I have always been serious about capturing my images in the best way. In my experience anything that can help capture that fleeting moment of perfect light is going in my bag. In many situations I have driven hundreds of miles, walked for hours with a heavy pack to get the shot I wanted, I would be gutted to miss it just because I couldn't control the capture they way I wanted. But every man and woman to their own. I would end by saying at this price and this quality it's a no brainer.
'Knackard' is probably a more accurate description He went on rather a long walk that morning and ended up with a sore leg - all was better by the morning though
I'm afraid not, it needs a filter thread for the mount plates to connect to - I think this is the case for all 100mm filter systems, I think it's only 150 & 180mm systems which work with that lens
Hi Dave! Could you please tell me what's the ligh you use on left and right filter sides? (ruclips.net/video/rq4z1rdgMDQ/видео.html) Best regards, Alex
Great review on the K&F pro filter system. I'm a new subscriber and plan to order this system from K&F right away. Looking forward to new reviews too!
Excellent review... I am getting my set tomorrow

A real pleasure listening to your detailed description and thoughts on the system.
K&F took a similar concept from Benro ND filters frames system.
Will it work on Sony FE 12-24mm f/2. wide-angle lens?
Thank you for sharing this information
Thank you Mr McKeegan, Hi Rusty. :)
What set fits a Sigma 12 to 24 Art lens? Thanks

@@DaveMcKeegan Thank you very much for the info.
is it possible to stack more than 2 filters?
Good review, covered the finer details well. Give Rusty a good rub around the ears for me…

Rusty seemed a bit 'down'. Something wrong? Blue Monday got to him?

Hi, would this work with a sigma 20mm art lens, were you can’t remove the hood? Thanks

How easy is it to remove the plastic frame around the filters? The instructions aren’t that clear.
Takes a little bit of persuading first time but much easier after that

Проплаченный обзор. Не хватает сравнений с другими системами (напр. Kase) и не указаны недостатки.
