John's point about there being no social housing requirement on PD is an excellent one, and I had never thought of that before. And as to Labour saying that they will not negotiate on social housing requirements under planning permission, well that will act as an anchor on their designs to increase the housing supply. If I meet all the PD requirements can I just go ahead and do it, or does it need to be authorised/logged with the borough?
