Das liegt halt immer wieder an der Politik, wie traurig es auch klingen mag. Dabei muss man aber sagen, dass die Publikumsstimmen Deutschland höher gerankt haben, wie auch Polen und Russland. Deutschland hat sich einfach schlecht gemacht.

I usually understand why songs do poorly at Eurovision. This however was a great entry, haunting, lovely staging, great singer. I really loved it, had it it in my top 5. Deserved so much better!!!

I can hear how nervous she is and she messed up some vocals BUT This is still better than about 70% of all eurovision songs in my opinion of course. And I feel bad for her. this is so unfair
And most singers miss notes at Eurovision. For example in Fairytale (highest ever scoring song) he completely missed most of the quick high notes and it was very obvious

This is very much the type of song that does win. The voice reminds me of Denmark's winning song several years ago, "Only Teardrops". Winning songs need a strong and repetitive refrain and this one has it. Will be in top six! Can't wait for 14th.

Ich hab den ESC nich gesehen, aber ich hab mir im Vorfeld paar andere Lieder angehört und gerade auch das Gewinnerlied. Deshalb bin ich umso platter, dass Jamie auf dem letzten Platz gelandet sein soll.
Klar zeigt Jamie z.B. in dem Lied nich die ganze Bandbreite ihrer Stimme, was ich ziemlich schade find. Aber ich find das Lied trotzdem echt toll, v.a. wegen des mystischen Flairs. Und ich schreib das jetz nich nur, weil ich Deutsche bin, aber ich find "Ghost" echt wesentlich besser als das Gewinnerlied. Außerdem is es schön ruhig und ich wette, dass die Hälfte aller Lieder mal wieder aus gehetztem Elektro-Pop bestand.
Ich hoff echt, dass sich Jamie durch das Ergebnis nich zu niedergeschlagen fühlt. Sie bleibt meiner Meinung nach trotzdem ne tolle Sängerin.

Same Here. Esc nicht angeschaut und eigendlich auch kein Interesse. Hab mir jetzt nur das "Gewinnerlied" angehört und dachte mir: was für n Müll, wie schlecht muss das deutsche Lied erst sein. Findet ich aber deutlich besser (wenn natürlich auch kein ganz großes Kunstwerk)
