Check your connections you should not have anything to do with the airbag at all and as long as battery was disconnected before you started you should not have tripped anything either
Hi, RTrepairs I am a big fan, I have the same Yaris but a 2006 model (Gulf Country Spec) with an ECU 89661-52C00. Do you think this would it will pick up cruise control as you have shown in your video?
The light is factory in the dash the kit when wired simply allows it all to work as it should. The car is already wired for the cruise control you just need the lever to make it work and connect the wires
@@RTREPAIRS Actually, I did some research, and from what I can tell, the Australian market models don't work for that simple fix, you have to buy a really expensive aftermarket kit to add cruise control for our cars as they didn't include all the components for it in our cars.
I have the same car and it's a stick shift. Talk to someone in the Toyota service department and he said it wouldn't work. Do you know how I can tell if it'll work?
Just one complaint: Why the hell didn't I do this 100,000 miles ago?!? LOL Thanks for the great vid!
Can you please link the cruise control unit you bought that fit?
From where can I buy the cruise control stalk and wiring
Hi! I saw some people added wiring to the ECU and the fuse box, but you didn’t. Is it because 2010 already has the wiring?
did you figure this out? i have a 2012
@@username2516 I noticed the same thing!
Did you got the answer?
Can you send me a link to the product for manual options
Is this the same for Toyota Echos?
My one complaint is that the explanation for the pin swap wasn’t actually shown. Other than that this was very helpful
Can u please tell how did you wire the other wire from airbag ?
i want to install cruise control in my vitz 2007 model can you please guide me how i can fix it
Hello, does this work with Yaris 1.4 D-4D?
Which chassis number I have nsp120 manual and trying to find af14 pin
Doesn’t work on my 2008 same engine same transmission so disappointed 😞
Same with my 2007 got the switch installed and everything
Is the black wire you added after for horn?
Man no programming thing? Should work here in uk right? 🤔
You have video or manuel for ksp130 2012
Greetings and thanks for sharing the video... Where I get the lever of the cruise control?
You can find them and the kits on amazon or ebay
Great video man. thanks. one question, what if the airbag now has a faulty connection after changing the wire to the new connector? thanks

It should work I dont have the specs for that version though
How do you install the cruise control light ? The wiring diagram I meant.

Love the channel! Will it work on a 2005 Echo? Cheers
Which models have the same mechanism you did
Does it work for yaris 2024, the brazillian version?
No only 2012 and older
I have a 2006 Yaris with automatic transmission. Would this work for my car?
It should work for it

@@apterachallengei think any before 2010 won't work
How to remove wire from the white pin. ?
Use a pinout tool or a small needle or pick. The pin will have a small piece that sticks out that you must bend/depress
I have the same car and it's a stick shift. Talk to someone in the Toyota service department and he said it wouldn't work. Do you know how I can tell if it'll work?
I don’t think the stick shifts ever came with cruise control only the autos did
You could always try though it might just hold it at a certain rpm in a certain gear
It will work with extra steps whatch the vidoe Vegas Romaniac uploaded
Older & Manual models will need additional wiring
Where did you buy the cruise control??? Want to do the same thing
eBay has a bunch for sale usually between $15-$20 US dollars. Check out my other videos also we work on a lot of cool stuff.
Thanks
It didn’t work on my 08 Yaris, any thoughts?
Is it a stick shift or automatic?
tinyurl.com/CruiseDIY
Go to this url it has complete info on all the Yaris installs
So i dont need additional wiring to the head unit or something?
No cruise has nothing to do with head unit
Would this work on an 07 toyota yaris? Is the 07 yaris pre-wired for it?
Yeah but you’ll need to swap a pin in the ecu too
He is correct you would need to swap a pin or 2
@@samyeomans6710do you have a link to which pins to switch
@@hershfam nah unfortunately. I’ve never had a Yaris. I’m into bigger cars haha.
Does this work for a 2008 toyota yaris or do I have to wire it to the ecu
2010 to 2012, some others also from Canada
