Fun fact.... The Behemoth Chargers weak points are its rear legs not its butt !!! It's butt actually has 50 more hit points and has a higher durability multiplier if I'm not mistaken

Honestly new update helldive is some of the most fun I’ve ever had nonstop fighting when you fight as a team it feels amazing when you fight as a one man army it feels stressful but amazing when it works out

It feels like a good time for Helldivers to do something big again and give streamers the confidence to commit to playing it. It got lost in the mix a bit when new shooters were released and streamers stopped playing it... But it's still the most fun, meme-filled shooter around.

@@keeleevraa I don't think that's what he's implying. The Helldivers 2 community has had a rough couple of months with some weird stuff going on at Arrowhead and Sony so the community is looking for another win. This patch is a good step in the right direction and though I've still been playing the game a lot when I'm not making content. There hasn't been anything fresh or exciting to cover in a while meaning HD2 is missing out on a lot of good promo and praise from content creators.
@@Tomographic Mate. Don't feel you need new stuff to make content, you're always entertaining, even solo. But throw in guys like Drewski, Aculite, Stone etc... it's just so much fun.

Useful tip for you Tom, the fastest way to deal with factory striders is by shooting its completely unarmored underbelly. Best to use Auto Cannon or HMG for fastest and maximum damage. This is easier said than done of course XD

Arrowhead needs to add this thing where once you’ve almost conquered a bot planet they should add dead factory striders with severely damaged devastators underneath its debris and have smaller bots ( i forgot their name) try to lift the debris off of them. (Sorry if a repeated a few words in my comment english is my second language)

Pilestedt made the right choice taking over the creative team, the buffs really improved the game and the new CEO seems like a pretty decent guy

You guys should really try the napalm strike or airburst on bug breaches, aspecially if you have the combustable 4th ship upgrade with the 25% bonus fire damage. What the kill streaks climb
YO! You got try the Gatling Barrage, it go BUFF! Plus it looks absolutely badass when deployed. They also buffed the Precision strike so it comes down faster and cools down faster, so if your rocking Stun Nades bring the Precision Barrage instead of the Rail Cannon. (seriously Stun nades just make the rail cannon irrelevant, no lies.) The Gas strike is also VERY EFFECTIVE at suppressing Bug Breaches, since it Lingers for several seconds after the shell lands.
Mag Dumping the Bahemoths backside with Machine Guns of any kind is also a decent tactic for killing them.
Rocket Pods will strip the Armor off, The Bombing Run is as good as ever.
Rocket and Auto Cannon Sentry will take em down in 6 shots from each of them.
The PATRIOT Exo Suit can very quickly strip the armor from Chargers and then finish them off with the gatling gun.

At higher difficulties it’s all about completing whatever objective, and then running from your problems.
It was one of your first HD2 videos that convinced me to get this game, despite me being very reluctant due to it being a third-person shooter, which I do not like. Alas, I have now more than 600 hours in the game. I have to in a way thank you for that.
I want to leave a small comment on your gameplay if I may. I know that people have play styles and preferences, and in most recent videos or streams, with Stodeh for example, the stratagem choices have always been the same. There are so many different ways you can combine stratagems and weapons, and also you have a squad to play, so I would urge you to more team play gameplay as it is amazing in this game. Leave the "meta" thinking behind and play Helldivers 2 to its full potential, you might enjoy it more, and have an urge to play your GOTY also when no new content is added, you know, because you have fun with the game as for what it is.

Oh I definitely mess around with all kinds of loadouts but at level 9 difficulty and playing with the guys like I was here, both of which haven't played in a while, I figured Eagle Airstrike, Railcannon and Orbital Laser were the best picks. For me, they're some of the most fun too even if they are "meta" 😅

I believe you can shoot through the Factory Strider's doors even if it's closed and still destroy it. Unless they changed that in the latest patch, in which case I have no recollection of it.

Bro i took a break for like 3 months, i come back and start a lv 4 mission and the first thing that happens when i step out of fhe hell pod is i get stepped on by a charger and the LMG i called down gets stuck in the ground 😂

Pre-Update Helldive was all anti-tank. Levels 7 and 8 were many of all enemies which made it much harder to optimize your load out. This new update is, imo, how Helldive should be.

10:20 - Tom's refusal to reload the autocannon for 2 straight minutes 8:20 finally catches up to him lol. I know you're streaming but good lord man. There's the blinking red gun on the bottom left and the PRESS 1 2 3 to change weapons *banner* at the bottom of the screen reminding you that you were empty lol.
Also, thanks for coming back to the game. I watched you guys play this when it first came out and I didn't have the game so I had no idea what was going on. I finally got the game and now nobody streams it anymore now that I know how the game works.
I was playing at 4am just so I could team up with Mat and Drew so yes, the brain fog was real 🤣

This update has UNINTENTIONALLY increased enemy frequency and spawns when it was supposed to decrease it. They changed the enemy quantity scaling rate back to what it was before, but additionally added more patrols in general so the map doesnt appear to be "empty" when players are away from major objectives or points of interest. These patrols seem to be magnetic and just come right for the players regardless of where they are and they each will call in additional bot drops or bug breaches almost instantly upon one closing. This change inadvertently undid any adjustments they made to fix the insane amount of enemies we were facing before, and in turn made things more difficult, resulting in what feels like a constant barrage of enemies with little to no moments to breathe. Unfortunately, changes not working as intended, seems to have become SOP for Arrowhead :/ I cant recall a single patch/update that hasn't resulted in this phrase being mentioned by a dev, in some way.
I'm loving most of the changes they made involving the weapons and stratagems buffs as well as some of the QoL changes, but the new armor passive not working, the spawns/patrols being infinitely worse than before, and the other known issues, some existing and some new, are becoming quite frustrating.

This game is a streamer's delight. I can't think of any other game that reliably produces content this good. There are surely some good ones, but this game has the prefect amount of tension, balance, and overall "baddassery" that it just works...

It wasn't THE Joel, It was a Modder that had the APC. and you get behemoth chargers at 7. Not sure but might be even lower maybe 6 haven't tested it though.
