day trips for me is finding a place to eat, then figure out which way to get there and then a different route home, usually on my longer trips i have only ridden with 3 other guys, and usually through the day we figure out how much longer we want to ride, then try to find a place to stay which ever way we are going.....exactly, i think some people do not know what constitutes an adventure...
Exactly. I just thought this topic should be talked about more. Some new ADV riders might get the wrong idea of what adventure really is due to all the wild and crazy videos out there. What you described is a perfect example of a daily adventure ride. Now your adventure is to shovel your way to the mail box.
@ lmao!!! we actually got rain yesterday Right now, a lot of it is gone and we are supposed to be in some polar vortex the next few days Now it’s just going to be colder than a well diggers ass in the Klondike
Yeah that's something I thought would never happen. I got a little excited, but still no where near 4K hours of watch time. I will eventually get there. Yes sir, it's been my pleasure buddy and I was hoping to inspire others to not get lost in those big multiday trips. The small trips matter just as much, whether it's history or just simply a good time. Enjoy being on the bike, that's it.
@@BigDaveTALKS Yup, saddle time is always good, be it a multi-day ride, or a spin to a local biker cafe. You'll hit it mate, the watch hours creep up slowely to start but after a while, they tumble in 🙂
@HippoDrones Ahh okay. We will see where it goes from here and it would be cool if i could get to a point where the channel could, at minimum, help fund the big trips. The fuel bill for my truck is a hard pill to swallow itself.
@ Mate, be under no illusions of earning any real money off YT ad revenue currently... am lucky to clear £30 a month, and then I give them back £15 a month for RUclips Premium to get rid of the adverts! 😀
@@HippoDrones 😁 oh i understand completely, but heck 30 a month for a year would definitely cover some fuel cost on a trip. I think any creator that has a monetized channel should get YT Premium for free.
