That's a damned healthy river, with that many fish in that hole alone and the size of those steelies that's impressive. Don't over fish this river. If you don't need two fish throw one back. Unless your feeding the unfortunate in your neighborhood or apartment complex.
This is the result of not screwing your hatchery program like the rest of the op has had done by the state…every river on the op has this rivers potential if you allow your hatcheries to do so so sad Wa is trying to destroy the hatchery program including broadstock hatcheries
Went 22nd dude if you went during the rain it was a slaughter fest for 2 days I seen damn near 100 fish caught same spot couldn’t walk to the weir hole…
Caught me a nice 18-20lb fucker was up past my hip tail dragging I walk up near the dam by the hatchery though less pressured & in crowds I suck I only hooked 3 when everyone else was smacking them up river cleared out by 10:30-12 😂
What’s cool about this specific river is the native influence and hatchery program in place here. There’s an abundance of returns each year, more than they know what to do with.
@@Dinko_B that makes sense … those fish have good size to them but I saw a shit load of fish on the ground dead and several being hooked…. No one eats that much steelhead u guys should enjoy the catching of the fish a little more than the pride of harvest. Beautiful fish and a beautiful river embrace that blessing from Mother Nature. Tight lines nice video
@@31dsheldondefinitely agree, love the fight more than anything else. Our group was 6 guys so most days we left with 1-2 fish a guy. We all eat and share the fish we harvest, none of it goes to waste. Appreciate the comment! Now go catch some big ones this year!
When you have to point out that the fish is hooked in the mouth you know you're a different breed of fisherman 😂
Don’t want anyone to make the wrong assumptions!
I laughed when I saw that myself. Haven't snagged a fish since I was 9 years old and 30 years later I despise ppl that do. No skill needed
Your guys guide stances go crazzyyy
I literally laughed making this video when I saw that
Outstanding! Thanks for sharing this!
Awww the kids trout pond 🤣🤣🤣
Buy fresh salmon from Indian! CHEAPER than pay to the guide.
Loving the ju jitsu style fishing technique🎣
Top notch performance 😎
Awesome video
Thanks man!
I've watched that system blowout and drop back in on the same day
Yeah it’s a creek right now 😂
what river is that? its insane how much you guys catch. over here is crazy hard to even catch one.
its the salmon river, not sure why nobody is commenting that when its no secret. You need a native guide tho, itll run you 150-200$
Nice...

It's sad indeed as a lifelong steelheader myself

Do you need a guide to fish this river? Any guide info if so? Thanks
You do need a guide, add me on Facebook and I can DM you info for guides
Whats the price for a day? Thanks.
Depends on guide, usually between $200-300
That river is pay to play unless you are tribe or know someone.
Is the whole OP tribe only?
@Le_Fish29 no, there are many rivers and creeks to fish
That river is for guys who don't know how to catch a steelhead on their own so they pay $300 so someone can show them how. Pretty sad.
😂 go watch my other content. Thanks for watching 🤙🏼
You pay to access the river, no one shows you anything. Bring your gear and your knowledge!
You guys are killing ur own river… you don’t need to keep every dam fish… sad. Good rivers going to waste
