Interesting video but it would have helped if we could see how you got to the first menu in the video, like a walk through from switching the camera on?
Wow! im not a beginner when it comes to photography or DSLR, but I just got the 7d and I'm having a difficult time understanding all the multi focus points. can you explain it a little slower I'm having a difficult time following you. Thank you
I don't have that model of camera... but, what happens if I want to take pictures on the street? Usually the moment must be captured in matter of second (when I shoot people) if not I loose the target. Should I practice my speed with a camera? Or should I improve my invisibility techiniques?
Hi i am having trouble keeping a Soccer player in focus what do you recomend for Soccer players moving about ,thanks
I have a problem with my 7D... everytime I attach a lens to the body, the AF stops working and the camera freezes up and it doesnt even shoot, when I disable AF from the lens I can shoot but I cannot see the pictures i've taken... I upgraded Firmware but nothing happened..anyone here with the same problem ???please help
you don't explain how to get to the first menu!!!]
what setting is the camera in to access all the focus points
in summation: switch your camera to AF auto AF in CFIII and its as simple as selecting focus point four seven quadrant variant fifteen. UNLESS you would like to track subject in AI servo AF in which case all you have to do is select custom function for AF area selection modes. Copy?
quick question here,
I dont know if its an error or I have to switch something to activate it.
but on my 7D I cant select the "Manual Select: Spot AF" 0:18 and the Man. Select : AF point expansion 0:20
@richieramone1 Canon is the best on everything including phone support. Only beef is their measly 1 year warranty. Tokina is 3 years, Nikon I think is two years. That's my only gripe and they are not infallible. Out of the box 400mm focusing issue. 7D has been handled like a baby, A/F mechanism issue, 580 EX II out of the box had an issue. My advice, if you encounter any slight issue & tech support can't resolve with your Canon purchase get it to the service center before the 1 year is up..
Which focus we need for group shots??
Wow, you couldn't possibly explain things more clearly. /Bummer you have to go deep in menu land to do all/any of these (focus points) changes. /..... Thanks
does anyone knows, how to make the dot not blinking ?
for example from 0.47 to 0.50 minute..
Please help mee
@bandaban Been using Canon for over 15 years, and my 7D's (2) have never had a problem with focusing. Maybe you received a lemon my friend. I on the other hand highly reccomend Canon over Nikon anyday of the week. Much faster focusing, and a GREAT lens selection.
I have 7d but this af point expansion I can't very time I choose skip only for are function it's new.this cam.what can I do?
Seriously guys, in any forum if you have confrontation of two giants in the industry, seeing blood if fimillier sight. Both the cameras are very good. But I do have something to add about the iso ratings. In a gloomy condition shooting with any camera at high iso is like painting with fingers.
good one mate...we like to sea more on 7d
For still life use manual focus.
Perfect equipment
Its called switching to manual focus.
whoa, I didn't know George Michael was good at photography
