oh yea mate, our kids know that from day dot, and we remind them all the time of our travels, they ran back over to tell us. hate to think if they got bitten mate.
Many of us would have our stories of Flinders Ranges holidays during which we copped the rain. The creek crossings on the Quorn to Blinman road are amazing with tree debris wedged into the tree forks and around the creek crossing barriers, evidence of what heavy rains can do when the Flinders creeks flood. Never pull over on the roadside during the rain, it gets very slippery, as you found. But such beautiful country and awesome 4WD tracks on the station properties.
Fair dinkum ... drone pilot level - Demigod!!! You guys have a great B, C and D plan game. Well done for smashing it, no matter the circumstances. Cheers, dd
Love the Flinders, such an epic landscape and your amazing camera work captured it so beautifully. I stayed at Rawnsley Station for 8 nights in one of the eco villas and had some amazing adventures. Shame about the weather, Mother Nature is boss. So you’ll have to go back 😊
You guys where driving into Alpana Station just as we where leaving. We ended up driving backwards and forwards from Wilpena Pound to Willow Springs waiting for tracks to open. Ended up getting stuck at Arkaroola for four days with road closures.
Hi Peter 👋 Yeah the weather was shocking. By the time we left Alpana the roads out to Arkaroola were shut. We were pretty much over being stuck in the van with the kids with the cold weather and ever changing weather that we decided to head to Rawnsley for some power. Was disappointing that we missed all the 4wd tracks as we were hanging to get on them. The main reason why we went back. Oh well… next time! Hope you enjoyed your stay out there.
I over took you guys just past Hawker heading towards Parachilna. I was in a white GU Patrol. Thought I recognised the green caravan from somewhere 😂 We went further north to Arkaroola to avoid the big rain that was coming. We missed it all thankfully 👍
Hi , first time viewer here . just wondering about your TV aerial what’s the extension on it please. Really enjoyed the video looking forward to watching more. The girls are adorable
I know right, how depressing 😞 u think they are still running the V8 for a bit longer then it will phased out due to emissions. End of an era my friend

Yeah next time! The track was closed due to all the rain they had come through. So we couldn’t even get out there if we wanted to. This was filmed when all the rain went through the middle so we were happy to head north and get outta there. On the list for next time though.
@@LostTribeAdventures mate I must say you guys thong slapping around and filming it is a way for me to write of a whole day and I’m not complaining about it
100% agree mate, but we found the van was hung up underneath on the trail arm on the left hand side. The boys in the lux turned up at the right time so I didn't have to start digging 😉
Yeah obviously. But we didn’t need to get to that point as we had someone to tow us out. Was easier doing that then dragging around muddy Maxtrax around mate! Thanks, Steph
Just for information guys, the baby king browns are more deadly than the parents as they can’t control how much venom they inject

No doubt about that at all. We have heard a few stories ourselves.

It's it the best, the landscape is like nothing we have ever seen before the eco villas looked awesome.. maybe next time 😉

New subscriber great content thanks for your great work 😅stay safe out there
😉 thanks Ronald, glad you enjoyed it mate and appreciate the sub and support mate 👍 🍻
Beautiful part of the country. But i'm biased (as a South Aussie)! LOL. And yep, Winter is as Winter is. Well done. 🙂
its a gorgeous part of the world, and that's not being bias (QLDER) 🤣 thanks legend
The baby brown snake is not the most venemous it is the Fierce snake aka the inland taipan.
Love you guys, great show again 👌👌
☺ ohhh awesome, but you kinda making us blush 😆
Oooh my god!😮😃
Bit crazy huh? Not what we expected to encounter on the trip 😅
Great drone work. Love seeing the Ranges from above.
Can I pls ask what month you were there?
Thankyou ☺. It was back in late June, so really it shouldn't have been that wet.. but got hit be the system that head across the red centre
Hi , first time viewer here . just wondering about your TV aerial what’s the extension on it please. Really enjoyed the video looking forward to watching more. The girls are adorable
The extra aerial is for the cello go system we use to boost our internet.. it’s ok but nothing like the newer options like starlink👍
I'm headed that way in October. Should be dry by then 😅
You would what to hope so 🤣 Oct and Nov is a wicked time of year to visit. Not too long now
hi guys, whats the anntena on top of the winegaurd tv one?
it was the old Celfi go setup. it was ok at the time but still very limited
Great drone work.. what are you using?…
So we have a DJI mini 4 pro currently for most thing. Not a bad little drone
@@LostTribeAdventures you work it like a pro😉
You guys do know that the new 76 series will have the option the Hilux’s mighty 2.8L engine and auto’ box right?

My sincere apologies your little boy and girl are adorable. So sorry
No worries mate, glad your enjoying our channel 👍
Lesson learnt don’t pull over on dirt after rain
Def a lesson learnt🍻👌 thanks for watching

More wheel speed and you would have gotten out. No point having muddies if you don't spin them fast enough to work

@@LostTribeAdventures hahah excellent
Take the car off the van and pull it from the road....sheeesh
Lucky we didn’t need to get to that point as we had old mate in the Hilux turn up 👍
@LostTribeAdventures what are the chances, lucky you!✔️✔️✔️
Mate a set of maxtrax would have got you out. Think more.
Yeah obviously. But we didn’t need to get to that point as we had someone to tow us out. Was easier doing that then dragging around muddy Maxtrax around mate! Thanks, Steph
