    Thanks for posting this Brady! Saved me a ton of time. I actually ended up just eliminating the adapter between the regulator and gas line and just got a fitting that fits both ends directly. Three dollar solution!!!! Cheers

    Hi Brady, nice video. Just an FYI that in Australia only a licensed gasfitter is permitted to work on a gas installation. We have very strict importing rules and different installation guidelines and requirements.

      Nice to know, I am in the USA so we can do it on our own but would suggest if in doubt hire a professional.

    Hi there. That nozzle that I can take out with 11mm wrench, what exactly do I replace it with?
    Trying to unFreak the mess guys who installed this made. Oven was not getting to temp and flame was low blue.

    Hello, first I’d like to thank you for making this video. I set up my Alfa one pizza oven and converted it to natural gas. I’m able to ignite it however when I turn the knob to high it turns off. Any idea why it’s doing that ?

    • @geepr12

      If the pilot stays lit but then flips off once the gas is turned on my guess would be the sensor is not functioning properly. You should reach out to Alfa to find out your next step. Let us know what you discovered to be the problem!

    Hey Brady - do you have issues with the pilot light going out due to wind? Do you know if there is an adjustment for pilot flame size? I asked Alfa why the NG and Propane orifice were the same size. They said a larger flame would damage the burner. I can't hardly see the pilot light when it is lit and videos of using propane show a much larger pilot flame. I may see about drilling the hole bigger for natural gas. Thanks in advance!!

      after looking at your video again your pilot light is much bigger than mine. were there any other adjustments you made? thx

      @geepr12  Год назад

      @@edbaas9474 I made no adjustments.

      When it is very windy I have had the flame go out a few times. When it does go out it takes a minute to re light but the Alfa seems to hold heat very well. This has only happened a few times and it was pretty windy. I would personally not drill it. Maybe seek out a plumber to test your pressure and check to see if it could be adjusted. It would be above my skill level for sure!

      @@geepr12 Thanks for the response. I'm having the gas company come out to pressure test the natural gas.

    Just got this oven and my flames aren't doing anything close to this and I can't get this thing hot enough. What was the burner adjustment you talked about?

    What's the name of the one fitting you had to buy to connect the hose?

    • @geepr12
      @geepr12  Год назад

      It will depend which hose adapter you get, I do not remember which one I got but it was not hard to find. I just took the parts with me to Menards and test fitted at the store.

    I am using propane and using the tank regulated along with the in line regulated both supplied by Alfa
    It seems on heating at the beginning the flame is large but once it’s Around 500 the flame reduces?

    • @geepr12
      @geepr12  10 месяцев назад

      That does not sound correct at all, flame should stay large regardless of temp. Did you try a different tank to see if that changes it? Are you in the United states?

    • @Bob-ou7uq
      @Bob-ou7uq 10 месяцев назад

      Yes I am in United States, I thought the decrease was from going thru 2 regulators
      I did read someone else had the same problem and they had to replace the burner
      I have only had this one month, bought it at Bbq boys and they are no help
      Do you know who I could contact at Alfa?

    • @geepr12
      @geepr12  10 месяцев назад

      I have never had to reach out to them so I am not sure on that. I would suggest as it has been awhile since I set mine up that you check the pin in the regulator that it is in correctly. @@Bob-ou7uq
