I’m buying a 94 f150 4x4 straight 6-4.9 liter and my plans for it are 3” body lift and 33” tires and possibly a suspension lift like a 1 1/2-2” on front to level it. Thank you for the advice and nice truck.
Take all the bolts out and lift only one section. At a time is what I found to be the best way. Staggering the install helps. Do one side them go over and do one on the other side
Alright so I’m basically kinda fixing to start doing the same thing you went through with your Ford trying to do a Body lift could you kinda tel me how you mounted the bumpers up higher like what’s you use and howd you do it because I don’t wanna have to cut my frame any where mine is a 1985 Ford F-250 4x4
Nice truck . I have a 3 inch body lift on my 1994 F150. The back bumper is back up to specifications. But I still have a gap up front . Any suggestions?. Maybe upgrade to a ARB bumper with brackets?
If you have some basic fab skills it’s easy, I made two brackets out of 2”x1/4” bar, they were about 5” tall, they had two bolt holes (9/16) spaced the same as the factory bolts, I put them vertical, lower hole lining up with the top hole on the frames bumper mount, the other hole was higher now, welded them on and installed the bumper, you’ll have to trim the bottom of the frame rails to clear the bottom of the bumper. I hope that made sense. Ive had a 3” body lift in my truck for 7 years.
@@demariojason no im referring to the front bumper. For the rear I built two brackets to replace the stock ones, they are on an angle up instead of dpwn with the factory holes lining up as they should.
@@ChaseTyson Mines an automatic tho. It has a lever that goes down to the transmission and its all solid. Was just currious about it. I finally got my shifter to actually go into the right spot for P,R,N,D,D,1 so didnt want to mess it up
Truck looks good bro 💯💯💯
Diamond plate to fill gap .leave bumper

Did you have to relocate the smog canister?
Did the steering linkage extender come with the kit
Yes sir!
You don’t need it.. I put a 3” in my F150 7 years ago and never put it in, it’s never been an issue
@@Beandiptheredneck thank you I’m only going to do a 2” and I’m going to replace the body mounts as well
Did you have to remove anything up front like fenders? After you unbolt the cab and jack it up?
no just the steering linkage and fan shroud I think..
And be gentle with your e brake cable!
