Saw Bush live for the first time a couple months ago..I honestly had no idea they were still around much less making new music. They put on a great show and prompted me to check out what they have been up to since the 90's....they still sound great

Gavin still does a great job as a frontman and showman, didn't hesitate to come into the crowd and get the audience involved when I saw them a few years back. Definitely bummed that the original members are all gone, but I was glad to see him still using the the purple Jazzmaster with the cheetah strap - missing that guitar in the rundown this time.
Appreciate the info. I’ve been searching and wondering whatever happened to that guitar for years. By chance do you know any details on the type of Stratocaster it was? A lot of articles and people say it was the Eric Clapton edition Strat but I now with certainty that it wasn’t. I believe it to have been a 91 reissue ST57 candy apple green MIJ.
What is star grounding? Is that where you solder a wire to all the pots, and then finally to the output jack ground? So if you do this, you don't need to ground the pot tabs? Did I hear that right?
Chris is absolutely right about those J Mascis Squier Jazzmasters. The necks are fucking sweet and feel like a guitar 5 times the price. I bought it with intention of getting better on it and and eventually getting a fender jazzmaster. Never bothered cause the Squier was so good
So happy he said, his favorite guitar in the world is the SG because I over the years always come back to the SG.. aesthetically there not my favorite but playing wise with the low action and weight ill always stick with the sg… even gavin using multiple sgs👌👌
Interesting utilization guitar-wise between Gavin and Chris as one uses Fender for drop C and baritone/Gibson for standard and the other uses Gibson for drop C and Fender for Standard. Wonder why that is??

Chris throws off the best vibes. Cheers from a fellow Squier player!
This dude NEVER misses a note live. It's amazing to me how he produces so much sound with a single guitar
the accurate sloppiness of Nigel is what made him so great though. lots of random noises and shit, that was a huge inspiration for me
