It's the same thing that happens to me any time I try to hop back into BDO... It's not satisfying grinding for hours with nothing to really show for it. You will always look homeless compared to those that paid for skins.

Too simple is not a bad thing imo. There are more casual players than hardcore players nowadays. Just look at how hard it is for a new player to get into wow compared to something simpler as gw2.

I have played TBT - quite a lot changed back from CBT1 or CBT2 - for example they ditched mana - meaning there are no more mana potions at all. They have also highly restricted p2w - it only has basic converters from f2p source onto crystals and reverse of that (exactly same to wow, lost ark, gw2 systems) battle passes, loot box for costumes and costumes / mounts itself - that's mostly it. You can not send gold to other players - meaning it should prevent from having any kind of bots or rmt in the game. All you can do is play marketplace (can't abuse prices either - the marketplace has "fixed" prices that are regulated by players demand and trading volume). So if something is traded at around 1000g - you can place it in between of range 500g up to 1500g. You can not set up your own price (that way it also prevents RMT). Dungeons on highest difficulty are really difficult - unfortunately there are FULL team wipes that can be caused by 1 person - which could make partying up little bit toxic. Same applies to raids. Game feels like it was designed more towards mobile users (people have been praising it lately as mobile mmo) more than PC mmorpg. But don't let it discourage you - game in 2K or 4K looks amazing whenever you place your character static in worldview. Battlegrounds have 3 different rotational modes (capture the zones, defending carts and one more) + there's also arena 3v3 to participate. All of it is EQUALIZED - gear or whatever doesn't apply in there. There are suppose to be seasons (1 per 4-6 months) that's basically. That's huge update that should include atleast 4 new raids and 4 new dungeons (times 3 cause each raid and dungeon has different difficulty to choose from). On each season there should be new gear so it works in a form of "soft reset" that should allow newer players to catch up to the older playerbase. Personally I will try the game cause I have high hopes for it. The game has some stigma from the p2w information fiasco - but whenever you tested it yourself - you will know it's not really the case. After TBT (last beta) I can not say the game was p2w. I will judge it once more after release and so should you if you are interested at any point of that game :).

In a mmorpg as you level up, you change gear. That lack of visual diversity will impact the game in some way. Hope they will change that. I wanna swap gear, stand in a Town see how people envy my gear.

@@AnonymousB460they stated that at launch there will only be 2 classes with BOTH genders available and the rest will be added later. I don't think you'll be able to switch them mid-character build so if there's a specific gender/class combo you want to play I would save a character slot for when they release the gender you want.

They are supposed to be dual gender classes shortly after release.... hopefully. At release 2 out of the 9 characters will be dual gender with the intention of all of them being that way soon thereafter.

It's more pay for convenience than anything. If you feel that there are better games to spend money on, then do that, but don't state inaccurate information because you don't like what you see.

Yes. You can change without restrictions. Your talents and attributes also change. It's a smooth process.
Are different stats needed for PvP & PvE? For example, if I want to play a healer Priest. In both PvP & PvE. Would I need two sets of gear?
Healers have the ability to be dps characters as well, apparently. So every class you want to play allows you to do damage which is nice*
