completely new to this drama, from my perspective this could easily get lost in translation. Me personally, the "just 3 strikes and the channel is terminated. GG" could sound like sarcasm, especially if he was defending him before this message. Meaning something like, "Go ahead and try." But I will wholeheartedly agree that it can also sound spiteful. Meaning something like, "Do it, only takes 3 strikes anyway." Regardless, I don't speak Portuguese, so its difficult to provide input on this, especially since comment above says the translation is off.

Cultures in different places are a bit different, for example insulting people in some countries is illegal and you can be fined for it. So it is not 100% clear what is illegal and not when interacting with international corporations and let’s be honest people don’t read the terms and conditions and determine whether that is not appropriate or not and most people end up assuming that the laws of their country are what they have to follow.

My thoughts are they could have asked him not to include the sponsor and then they could have complained to RUclips even though they asked him not to include it. The RUclipsr would be held responsible regardless what they had asked him to do and they could have responded with “we didn’t know” BS.

I'm really enjoying having a balanced moderator with no ties to either side and minimal bias sort through this kind of drama. This is the kind of drama I can get behind; a structurally addressed conflict where each side has an opportunity to speak their peace without it turning into a screaming match or an unresolved he-said/she-said. The fact that Asmon's moderating is just the absurd icing on the cake.
He also has the power/ money/backing he can actually take action if needed unlike most moderators simply due to his unique position

The worst thing with the mod is that he used generalized claims as arguments like "he is lying about things","he is ruining the reputation", "he said bad things" but when asked about what, he knew he could not say . God, why did that Discord mod sound exactly like I thought they would sound.
This guy was talking about politics on discord, something that was prohibited by rule, and he was already a moderator, and he even silenced someone for contradicting what he said, the person told him to simply read the rules.
But he is a mod, and that makes him untouchable

This was a great way to start the day, props to the mod honestly. He knew he was going into the wolves den asking to come into the call. problem was the 2nd part of the message of the mod, there was malicious intent. you can tell them to just block, mute, report and stuff and its fine but saying 3 strikes it can remove his channel.... problem also with mods is that why does he need permission from the devs to talk about things that are maybe public knowledge. his not part of the company if its on the discord channel then he can talk about it. he is basically the hands of the dev then and if he does anything wrong well its not the dev but the mods....

I've used Google translate (the photo mode, the voice mode, and just the usual mode) in areas where no one spoke English. It wasn't perfect, but it was a lot better than a dead grandma could've done.

This was actually some really good content. Got some drama, a bit of a plot twist and a nice conclusion. Zack played his role masterfully in keeping this whole shit together from start to finish. I don't think I could've paced and steered the conversation this well had I have been in his position.

This guy has no idea what defaming legally means.
He also has no concept of what abusing one's position means, regardless of intent. If you're in a position of power, whether or not it's your intention to abuse it, people will pay more attention to what you say than if you were not.
Honestly though, I do think Fox should be reported for blatant misinformation, but they doing it on purpose, that's very different than making a youtube video where the youtuber may have misunderstood something.
