Fabulous build. Great design and I love how chuffed the wee man was being able to get up and down himself. So well done. I've been promising to buy a router for some time now. Someday soon hopefully.
Delightful project that is so practical & really well made. The router is certainly undervalued in the workshop & watching you use it makes me wonder why I don’t use mine more so. 🇦🇺🇦🇺🍺👍👍👍
No notification for this one but I am so glad I found it. What a magnificent project! I wish I had thought to make one of these for my lads when they wanted to use construction toys on my workbench until they grew up to use tools themselves. However I was knocked for six by the cost of timber over there!!! At that price I would be scared of ever making a mistake! I am really impressed that this unit is future proofed as well as being excellent for what is needed at this time! Thank you so much for the video work you put to be able to share this with us. Really appreciated. Eryk :-)
Thanks for stopping by Eryk. I know wood pricing in Australia are crazy. Plywood in particular. You right the helper has so many uses and very handy for the little ones.
Hi Ainslee, I was just thinking , great build but I would have done it differently. Isn't that what being a "Maker " is all about ? Seeing a problem or challenge and coming up with a solution and building it and then the joy of seeing it working. You make an excellent video really sharp editing and production .. Very well done
Thanks Phil. That’s the hope. Always a million ways to do something and only through building, improving and building again do we improve. Thanks for stopping by 😀
I made two of your DIT step stools from about 3 years ago...love them. I have made also a couple of kids helpers using a different design. These things are awesome to make and make parents happy when they receive them hahahh Great editing on this video, respect to you and all your hard work producing content for us!
Thanks Joe. Hopefully this means it will be able to be used longer. They grow so quick! He uses it everyday so want it to be useful for as long as possible 😀
I made one of these for my two little girls last year and it's still in daily use! I've walked into the kitchen a few times now and seen the 2 year old helping herself to treats in the cupboard haha! Great video and great design too :)
Looks like the client was very happy with his helper...especially the monkey bar :D
😂 he does love to swing down everyday. Happy client, happy Ains 😀
