I was right behind you in the relay on Lap 3 and can vouch that the conditions were awful at that point! I'd say it cost me ~3-4 minutes for just that one lap. I can't even imagine slogging it out for 50k in that rain!
Dude way to power through. These conditions looked so bad. I ran 10k this morning in 33F with rain and wind and was miserable as hell. Can’t imagine taking that on at your distance. Random thought, have you ever tried punching your side stitch? I did that during a half marathon once and I got some looks…but it worked 😂 Congrats!

Yeah, I literally had bad dreams about that 4th lap the night after the race!
