They should not be allowed to plea.😢
Criminals should not be allowed to say I'm guilty? Hahaha
@@lancevangen6485I think they meant get a plea “deal.” Since there is enough evidence for conviction.
They all deserve more than 15 years.
Yup
Yes they do, but this helps
The state because he took a plea deal meaning he played a major role in testifying against the others, which will also help the family with their civil case. I bet the other four will get 30 years or more.
if fifteen years is a "good deal" you know the others are in for a wake-up call

Why do the officers wear masks in court? Cowards!
Most likely covid (teh pandemic isnt over yet, it's just slowing down)
They had no problem wearing them..
This reporter said “its ASTOUNDING for officers to be held accountable this way” (3:30). She is right, a murder by Police is often snubbed. The victim is often blamed. The cops get away with it usually. This needs to be brought out!
It will be newsworthy when ALL police officers, inspite of the color of their skin, are held accountable. One believes that these officers are being held accountable because they are black. The white police officer who pulled open the car door has been fired but not held accountable. Where are the others who stood by and did nothing ? Accountability for ALL or for none.
Get rid of qualified immunity
No one would want to be a cop
People would sue them over everything

@@Octavian2don’t matter. Responsible policing is essential in every community. That way of thinking is what caused that young man’s death.
@lainieb329 I was making reference to a quote about the most dangerous thing in life. Statistically, you're more likely to lose your life to people living in the inner cities than police. That goes for white and black, no matter the race.
But as far as responsible policing, that's something 99.9% of people would agree with, so it doesn't really mean anything to say. Everyone obviously wants that.
@@Octavian2 - Any ole excuse is better than I am a POS too.. 👀😳
Justice for Tyre 🤍🙏🏽
This guy cut the first deal to get out early! They don’t need ore information to convict. They need to be charged on trial for this.
Right
The benefit of this is hopefully that the one who pleaded guilty will give information that will help the others get convicted and also give information about the police department, so that further action can be taken against more people.
If he changed his plea, then they cut a deal. That means those other guys better start pleading guilty because he’s going to testify against them. Of course they have the entire thing is on camera! They are all Thugs! 🤷♂️🙄🤦♂️🤔🤷♂️🙄🤦♂️🤔

I'm thinking that his family made him face up to his crime. If that's true he may not be completely lost.
Really??? A plea deal for murder?? NO WAY…He claims he is going to ADMIT to cops being allowed CRIMINALS. WE ALL KNOW THAT.
Wow we expect this from white officers, but black officers…. They know the feeling of being profiled by the color of their skin and they really put this poor young man through this… my heart hurts by the way he called for his mom… bless his family I know this hurts
Blue is blue
You expect it from white officers because those are the only stories that get 24 hr national media attention. This story hasn't gotten an eighth of the coverage because there is no racial angle to exploit. If at least 2 of these officers had been white... you wouldnt be able to avoid the coverage. The fact is, bad/corrupt policing happens all over the place, but the only time you hear about it, nationally, is when it's a white officer and a black victim. Thus your perception of things gets distorted.
They all need to spend the rest of their lives behind bars and pay Tyre family that 500 million law suit Memphis
Idc what puff has done that mfer is guilty period all cases
Learn the English language. Ya the black folk love to slaughter the English language don't they now.😂😂🤮🤮

I can't agree more.
Did Derrick Chauvin not get arrested and sent to prison for over 22 years? 😒 Y'all are just upset because black people got the negative spotlight they aren't used to getting.
Oh well
It’s crazy that this is the only thing the DA is willing to prosecute.
More than likely they'll put a hit on him before he goes to court to testify !!
He'll be in protective custody the entire time. Separated from General population. It won't be easy to get to him. Cops can't be around the inmates they arrested.
These former officers are also hypocrites, they harmed someone black and are black themselves.
It’s called self-hating and unfortunately it’s not a surprise in the black community. Those guys got those jobs and did what they did to show out for their white superiors. They thought it was going to exempt them from being black.
Is it just me but the lady on the far left was looking at black lady kinda weird. Her energy seem weird to me
Why is it that a man of color police officer can be accountable for his actions, but no one else in Tennessee?? Like Cam Wilkey and a whole bunch of other people.
Was it payback for infidelity?
The adjudications here will transition into a unprecedented metamorphosis..."Scorpions" will morph into "yardbirds"....

Nope. I'm not.
Whoa....the only 1 taking responsibility, thank you for your admission, finally some justice is served
Doesn't matter, when you get busted. Your taking responsibility period
Admission happens directly after in the interrogation. This is a plea. It's called self preservation.
I wanna see whyt officers held to this standard as well as black cops. The world knows that it’s the wyte race soldiers who commit the majority of these crimes. So miss me with “the culture of ruthlessness in the Memphis PD” narrative 🤦♀️ Do something about the RUTHLESS culture within majority of PD across America that go uncharged and/or transferred to the next town over🎤
It's spelled 'white.'

@New_World_Order.666 oh gawd🤦♀️
Chauvin is innocent, lets talk about that
And so is this officer
Ya
It took great courage to take responsibility for his bad behavior. Kudos to him for showing that courage. May he stay safe as he complies with his plea agreement
He admitted to participating in a murder. Why does he get kudos?
Bullsh**. He knew he'd spend the rest of his life in prison. It's completely self serving. Your bar is very low.
Not if he made a deal.
Hope you feel the same about Derek chauvin. Getting busted is taking responsibility no matter what you try to plea.
He’s a predator that killed someone. Courage would have been stopping the other officers. Courage would have been rendering aid. Now he is going to throw all of the other officers under the bus to save himself. . He’s the lowest form of coward.
Driving into oncoming traffick and then running away isnt doing nothing. This attack on Cops is out of control.
