You can't train a sociopath to not be a sociopath, all cops MUST have an extensive phycological work up to determine if they are mentally healthy enough to do the job correctly BEFORE they are trained. Otherwise we are just training dangerous people to be more dangerous and then giving them a gun and authority over the public.

Facts, at he end of the day, they are still human beings, getting on with law enforcement does not absolve you of past indiscretions and the things that you feel make you morally or ethically exempt. You have to want to do right by the people, if you're having a bad day and hate certain groups which is hard to weed out, but you cant properly represent ANY community. Your biases cause many problems and because of this, you have anger behind it and feel you are the law and have points to prove, there is nothing wrong with officers doing their jobs the RIGHT way. Some of them are getting a check to condone lawlessness and yet hide behind it and that is so wrong, yes there are criminals but a bitter black male/female being overly aggressive with members of their own communities does not solve the problem, you cannot get away with what you think they get away with. Everyone wants the best people for the job... until they hire people based on race, equity, inclusion, etc. Hence, be careful what you wish for. If they name a team Scorpion, or Death Squad or Viper like they are some badass military unit in a Hollywood movie then what kind of mentality do we expect the members of that unit to have? Every job provides training to some degree or another, but it is always up to the individual to have morals that don’t violate the policies of not only the company they represent but just basic human decency. Lol she hired those officers. Why does the focus never go beyond the officers? Nobody ever looks at the chief or the mayor that appoints the chief. With this case as with many others, the mayor ends up being a Democrat. The party that's most vocal about police brutality has the most instances of it. Go figure.

That is the reason why they are allowed to flood into the country like never before. I keep reading people saying that these victims need to stop resisting arrest and then they wouldn't get killed. Why are you lowering your expectations of police to that of caged animals where if a citizen has the misfortune or poor judgement to enter the cage, deserves and should expect to get torn apart? Police deal with people at their best, and worst, and it's their responsibility to protect and serve the public. Their oath should be the same as doctors, "First, do no harm."
