Its truly wonderful to see a mk4 enthusiast presenting a rare model. Love your presentation. Got two mk4s myself, both 4wd, a 3door vr6 and a 130hp tdi estate which ive lifted 50mm. Not nearly as nice as yours but its a reliable winter beater with attitude.😎 Keep up the good job!💪
Thank you! Yes, she's definitely my favourite of the three cars I have, I love her and know every inch of the car mechanically and cosmetically. She's my dream Golf, and I'm so glad I found her 🥰 nice to meet another Mk4 enthusiast :D
Lovely spec of a Sportwagon you have! I purchased mine about a year ago. I'm located in Bulgaria but I have one of your 200 in right hand drive. From what I know the car was imported 2018-ish to my country, it's Reflex Silver, almost 300k miles on her and engine is as good as new. Paint not so much but that will be fixed within in a year I hope so. Already put some rare and nice parts on her, but there is always more to it. Might want to make a video about mine soon like you did just for the fun of it and upload it. Greetings from Bulgaria! ^_^
Greetings from UK to Bulgaria! Thank you, she's my absolute dream and I've loved ever second of owning her 😁 she turns heads when people realises she's a bigger engine one - people don't understand how rare she is, even the insurance company 😂
@@ninety2automotive love them but unfortunately never actually had one. Had 4 Mk2's and a MK1 though!! Back in about 1999 I drove a friends brand new 1.8T GTI ABT Sportline. I was BLOWN AWAY at the time with its 230bhp and really high spec. It was a rocket ship compared to my MK2 Fiesta 1.0 litre I had at the time!!
Wow!! An ABT is one I'd like to experience! I've had 3/4 cars were Golfs! I'll introduce my Polo before I sell her, she's a PD130 GT Sport, 1 of 253 made for the UK Market
i have one of these!! mine's the 2005 Jetta Wagon version, and i had no idea they even had a Golf variant of this until a few minutes ago, so weird to see it with a Golf front-end! mine's just the 2.0L GL but Betsy (mom picked the name in 2006) was my dad's old car and i got her this past July.
Betsy is a great name!! I didn't realise until a couple years ago they did a Jetta varient, it was only joining a Facebook group for VW wagons did I learn that! It's good though, as parts can sometimes be tricky to get hold of!
Not really sure as it depends on so many factors including spec etc. Typically diesel Sportwagens (PD130) are fetching between £1,500-2,500. Petrol 1.8Ts I haven't seen for sale in a while but the last few were between £3,500 & 5k for either heavily modified, or not great condition/engine failure. Insurance value is upwards of £5,000 for mine. Hope that helps :)
