I am honestly very impressed at how great a teacher she is. She has a real love for her craft
She sure does. She loves and values her craft and loves to give her knowledge and wisdom away. She's done a lot of masterclass at universities and other institutions.
Miss LuPone, the real deal. Bold, brave, unapologetically her. Brava.
"Success limits you because you're trying to repeat your success" loved this
Well, yes.. because You've found that successful Connection with the creators and audience. Artists who are always trying to "Re-Create" themselves Risk the audience Not liking their New creative, interpretive point of view.
I love how much she encourages the students! And it’s Patti, she’s amazing! Thank you for the post!
It's a great masterclass she gave here! She's a brilliant teacher. And you're welcome, we hope you enjoyed it😊
Patti was incredible, she was very assertive, helpful and kind to the students. She would be a fabulous teacher or director
Who could ask for a better coach! They learned so much from Patti!

And Ryan went on to star as JD in Heathers!

No problem! We're glad you enjoyed it😊
As a young performer… I don’t think, I‘d have the courage and confidence to perform in front of Patti LuPone
You should though. You should have the courage to perform in front of anyone, otherwise you're not made for the performing arts. It's alright to be afraid, to have stage fright, even Patti still suffers from stage fright, but you have to overcome it.😊 We would feel the same way, if we had to perform in front of her. But those young performers were incredibly fortunate to get a chance like that and we believe they felt honored to have Patti LuPone coach them and to be able to perform for her.
@@TheLuPoneDolls First of, I was just joking around a bit, because of course I would take the chance to perform in front of her and let her coach me, if I would ever get the chance to, but I feel that it takes a lot more confidence to perform in front of someone like her than it takes in front of a “regular” audience since she has always been a huge inspiration to me. It’s the same with auditions. I think it’s completely normal to be more nervous when auditioning in front of industry professionals than performing for “non professional” . As you said, it’s always normal to be nervous, I just think there are situations where you need more confidence and courage and where you feel more pressure and for me that would be one of them. The performing arts are rough and I don’t think I would be where I am, If I wasn’t made for it☺️ My comment probably just sounded different than planned.
Edit: Not only I would take the chance, I’d be honoured of course
Why is this woman not a Broadway director???
She would be brilliant! But she's rather onstage😉
THANK YOU for posting. Do you have access to the Renee Fleming episode? Another one I've been searching for for so long.
You're welcome!☺️ And sorry, but we don't have the Renee Fleming episode.
It's Ryan!
I liked that the first girl made it her own with the riffs and all so…
