A thought that occurred to me while listening to this is how thankful I am--as are surely all lovers of musical theatre--that Mr. Sondheim lived to see Broadway reopen.
I've been thinking this as well... he looked so frail on Colbert a few months ago and I started wondering if he willed himself to keep going until his work could be seen again. Then, not even a week later...
The heartbreak in her voice 😥
The lights just won’t be as bright on Broadway.
Patti, I want to hug youuuuu
Just uploaded a video about my love of Sondheim, in which I included memories of seeing Company in London a few years back. I think I saw you there at stage door as we waited to meet Patti- truly one of the most special nights of my life! Sondheims music meant the world to me and it’s so lovely and bittersweet to hear him be remembered and celebrated by all of broadways greatest icons as well as fellow fans! thank you for sharing ❤️
Not a day goes by, that you are some how a part of my life! Something just broke!😢
