    It would be awesome if we could see a short video of the car in Switzerland with it's new owner just to see everyone's reaction to the car out in public.

    I don't expect my question to be answered by Mark but maybe a reader may. My Cuda had the deluxe interior with leather upholstery with the woodgrain surrounds on the door and rear panels. Rear panels also had ashtrays on both sides. Also, overhead console. I did see another 1971 Cuda 340 N95 with the same deluxe interior years ago. The Phantom Cuda has leather interior upholstery without the correct panels. Maybe another add-on? Also, in 1971 I believe the rallye center caps were the darker argent color verses the lighter 1970 centers. Comments?

    Hey Mark, i have a replica of the knife the night slasher in Cobra used. I still remember the scene where he is shaving his head with the knife in the mirror.....classic. I love the old horror movies too. Just like the old muscle cars.

    I was born 3 years too late in 1955, as I got a brand new off the dealership showroom floor, a 1973 340 Cuda as my High School Graduation Present.
    Could have had a 1970 or 1971 (Possibly even a HEMI CUDA???)
    I really have to thank my Parents and Grandmother that sacrificed a lot to give me such a great present!!!
    MSRP was just over $4,000 for the 1973, but my dad’s buddy had a car lot and did a lot of business with the Plymouth dealership. He worked a deal for $3,400 out the door.
    I’ve been trying to locate the Sticker, paperwork and Broadcast Sheet.
    I know years ago the paperwork was at their house, and when Graveyard Cars came on, I tried to locate the paperwork and couldn’t find it.
    I don’t know if they threw it out or not. Both are deceased and the house was sold.
    Would have, could have, should have….. the Cuda was traded in 1975 for a new Trans Am as the Cuda had a lot of problems with the Voltage Regulator and the Bypass Hose. Had to replace each one 3 times. Carried a replacement in the trunk tool box for both.
    I miss that Cuda so much!!!

    • @ralphalvarez5465
      @ralphalvarez5465 2 года назад

      A 'Cuda traded for a Trans Am? What's the point of finding paperwork on an awesome car that you traded away? For a Pontiac?

    • @kerry_glock
      @kerry_glock 2 года назад +2

      @@ralphalvarez5465 Well, in 1975 I was 20 years old and was attending Main Campus in State College (PSU). I made frequent trips back home (45 miles from PSU) to see my girlfriend as much as possible.
      The Cuda had the Voltage Regulator go out for the second or third time and I missed getting back to college for a Mid-Term Test in my Major.
      No Cell Phones in the mid - late 70s. The parents were paying my major expenses Car Payment, Apartment Rent, Food and Tuition. If I was home I’d work some hours in my Parents “Mom & Pop” Convenience Store to help out. But, they insisted I get a more dependable car!
      So I didn’t have a choice.
      They had……
      “The Golden Rule:”
      He who has the gold, makes the rules!
      So they insisted I get another car. Cudas & Challengers were no longer being made, so the Trans Am was the car I selected.
      I wanted to find the Cuda Paperwork to put in the files of the cars I have had over the years. I had the hope of one day getting an old Cuda or had thought at some point they would produce a Throw Back/Concept Cuda.
      Unfortunately, that never came about, some one off Concept Cars were out as teasers, but not for production.
      So over the years I’ve had Corvettes. I have a 2022 Red Mist HTC Z51 since February and loving that car.
      Wish I felt better, I’d drive it more, but just started my 4th year of Chemo for Pancreatic Cancer so I feel like 💩 pretty much all week.
      I got my first Corvette, a 1976 that I got in 1981. I kept it until 2019 when it was necessary to have funds for getting a C8.
      C8s are hard to get, especially at MSRP, but I managed to get one from a local dealership.

    F the mercury capri. Ide love to chat to Mark about the European Mustang the FORD CAPRI. I think it would spank the mustang in most settings probably all of them until drag race. Whatever Mustang you bring out 60s 70s mayb early 80s im sure the equivalent ford Capri would eat it.
    Bear in mind i can link you to a race in UK where a Boss Mustang was hounded HOUNDED by 1200cc Mini Coopers search
    Crystal palace raceway Ford vs Chevy and wow that is the best race ive ever seen that little 1600cc escort vs that honking 5700cc Camero even with a good straight to strech the legs of the chevy that little Escort was right there always driven on the absolute edge but look to the back of the feild and see the Boss Mustang surrounded by Mini's.
    Dont forget the Ford Capri the Mustang for Europe also has the Zakspeed Capri which is an absolute monster.
    Ide love to see a show face the Mustang vs Capri car by car episode by episode, EP1 the Mk1's EP2 the MK1 specials. EP 3 the MK2's so on until it is the Zakspeed vs the equivalent race special mustang. The Ford Capri would win im sure. Just like EU Ford designs are sold in USA today not USA Fords sold in Europe. The mustang is a novelty car in Europe. Like any US car but Tesla.

      Ford Capri Mk1 1969-1974 mercury 1970-1977 so Mercury stole the name too. But isnt Mercury and Ford the same. Wait was it sold in USA as Mercury but is the Euro Capri? F that noise ive never seen a Capri in any movie im thinking big honking square car from mercury.

    Mark may know a thing or two about Mopar products, but he doesn't know the difference between a Mercury Capri and a Chevy Caprice. The Capri was a pony car that could be ordered with Ford's legendary 302. It was a rocket! The Chevy Caprice was a land-yacht that couldn't go fast even if you put a 454 with a blower under the hood.
