Finally, some ADDITIONAL footage on the Phoenix Cuda. Now how about the rest of the build? No need for the next 6 episodes to be footage that has been remixed and rehashed a dozen times.
I saw a rusty hunk of beauty and said I gotta watch. Led me here. Excellent work. And the asides crack me up. 3 licks & crunch. Owls are raptors. Set timing to mark, twist dizzy to ear.... Old school? In over 40 years I never met another who felt the exhaust. And the pulses tell more than he said. THAT is Old School.
There is no doubt Justin is an amazing assembly tech. You can tell he loves what he does. Could you even imagine what GYC could produce if they still had Dave Rea in addition to Justin? Both guys are truly masters in what they do. Mark truly has some awesome employees that put up with a lot of crap. Hopefully Mark is only like that on the show. I am thankful for the FF button on my DVR
Wendell is a great man I've known him now for 15 plus years hes always there if I need help ,he got married a few years back and he deserves the best, he's very respectful and honest a good Christan man I told him the cuda needs to go in side when it sat in his yard at his shop where he builds track goes that drive on rail road tracks on there own power hes a smart guy on the computer and runs a business with the tools to make and repair big equipment like his buddies bucket dredge up in Alaska so his cuda is a car I've had my eyes on for a long time it's a fantastic job you all did and it's just a beautiful thing,, you guys are the best peace n God Bless yall
I am not a car expert. I love the 60/70 Mopar muscle cars. My favorite car I have ever owned was my 1970 Dodge Challenger with (so I was told as I bought it used) a high performance 340, Hurst tranny with a Pistol grip shifter. I loved it more than my 1966 Ford Mustang with high performance 289 and a 4 speed tranny. Wish I still had my Challanger. But I am now disabled and don't drive, but I would love for my son who lives with me as my caretaker to experience that kind of power and driving joy.
LOL, I remember that commercial far better than Mark. The "wise old owl" is asked how many licks, he takes the tootsi pop, takes three licks, then bites down with his beak, crunching the outer candy, and says three. The tag line of the commercial was "The world may never know."
That blue is one of my favorite colors on any car regardless of what make model year it is I own a 1978 Chevy 4 wheel drive pickup that came out factory that color and I absolutely love it wish I could afford to have that vehicle restored from the ground up I gave $500 for it and have driven it for almost 10 years now
At the 32 minute point when they were talking about the Bultaco motorcycle, a lot of memories came back from the early 70's. Two things I remember about those bikes were the fact that all of the 125,175 200 and 250cc off roaders shared the same transmission making it possible to race the same bike in different classes with just a cylinder and piston swap (easy to do on a 2 stroke). The other thing was that because the 2 stroke engines were set to fire at TDC (no advance) they could start up backwards if you did not kick start them with enough force. Things could get interesting with the fuel cap when you let out the clutch especially if it was a dead engine race start. OUCH! to put it mildly.
That's just crazy though $5,000 for some carburetors people just take advantage of other people because theres really no reason for them to cost that much. Those carbs cost maybe $27.00 a piece back when they were first made. That's why an average guy like me could never ever have a car like this because of the prices that they just make up the charge for things.
The more Rarer things become the more ya have to pay. Ya won't find that stuff everyday. You Guys are lucky that heaps of correct reproduction parts for your classics. Our Aussie classics we don't have as much reproduction. Ya can't get doors for Holden Monaro or Torana GTR XU1's . The Torana GTR XU1 Triple Stromberg CD 1.75 inch carbs ya BIG money for now.
For the record, I remember that commercial too - Mr Owl took 3 licks (with his tongue BTW) and then on the 4th he bit it. So actually, I suppose it's more accurate to say 3 1/2 or 4 licks, but I guess 3 is close enough.
It should start like it did from the factory, Distributor that is installed proper, firing order is in check, gas in the carb bowls, BOOM, first time is a good sign 😅
You got me laughing so hard . The anomaly wrapped in an enigma inside of a tootsie roll wrapper. That’s the crazy funny line all your own ! Thanks for the laugh .
The terminator view of allysa and will had me dying from laughter.. said she was a car thief. Then will 5 foot nothing hair said girls..weight said over lol.. then said he was a #2 I havent seen the show in years and to see it again keeps me laughing with every show. I've been wanting a cobra. But after seeing these coda you built has me wondering if I wanna start looking for one
71 cuda 440x 6 shaker hood 4th Speed I ordered it and it was stolen before I even saw it. It made it to the dealer lot, I saw it in the distance and then it disappeared. I'm too old but I would just like to see if it's still exist purple over White
@@AussieMax17 hi max, it's me the humungous. Ozone: Ozone, or trioxygen, is an inorganic molecule with the chemical formula O ₃. It is a pale blue gas with a distinctively pungent smell. It is an allotrope of oxygen that is much less stable than the diatomic allotrope O ₂, breaking down in the lower atmosphere to O ₂.
Please show a ‘63 Plymouth Sport Fury convertible 383 Golden Commado Power like my dad owns. When it showed up a Fitzpatrick Motors in Derby, CT, he’d left word at the dealership to call him immediately when the rack truck showed up with he. He blasted from work and drove it off the truck. Period. Black with white top like his. He’s 86 years old and doesn’t have long left.
Owls don’t have butt holes, but they do have tongues, & it took 3 licks for the owl to get to center of a tootsie pop in the commercial “Ice Cream”! Lol
I don't know what anybody else feels about this series, but it sure seems to me to be a spin on "THE OFFICE"! Just watch Mark's snarky remarks and his humor. It seems like he's trying to be Stave Carroll and the other players are just mimicking the office staff. Is it just me or am I right about this? I'm just waiting for Mark to say, "THAT"S WHAT SHE SAID"!
I walk into Doctors Office... I hear "There coming to get you Barbers"... I said to the guy watching on his Phone "Green Cuda?".... He said "Damn good guess, and yes"... Marc The IceMan is that famous...🤘🤘🤘🤘
How high strung is "Mark Worman"? He needs to do some yoga and meditation or something... Let go of pointless thoughts. Who cares if a cartoon owl can lick something and how many licks it takes? It is a cartoon... it is not a real owl.
Boy if you could stay on subject, you might be interesting, but the continual wandering off subject into rambling stories that mean nothing is too much for me, love old mopars and watching them rebuilt, too bad you can't stay on that, and the 300 commercials, never get this wasted time back
Does Mark: 1. Not understand the concept of the Tootsie Pop commercial? 2. Has genius product placement of secret product sponsor? 3. Is actually obsessed with finding the actual number of licks? 4. Has a great sense of humor and sarcasm level off the charts?
If you think you have genuine comic talent there is only one test. You have to go to a comedy venue and get up on stage. That way you'll know. We already know. A few quips and jokes are ok. This constant nonsense is just a pain. More car work less nonsense. I guess you're just trying to squeeze every penny out of the old footage you own with these rehashes rather than create new product. People come here to see current work.
Flop. My uncle swore by making sure the parts were not only at the same angle they would be on the car but at the same orientation. In this case you see the car pointing NS but the hood and decklid are pointing EW. The theory would be this is the worst case but what about the car pointing NS the hood and decklid would be backwards at SN. It is well known gravity pulls the flake but do the flakes act like a needle in water and get influenced by the magnetic field of the planet. Would it be worse on flat panels like the hood and trunk or vertical things like the doors. I don't know if the theory is right but he never had problems with the flop.
Swetting details on correct hardware, then undercoating it completely wrong! They never came undercoated like that. And painting the car twice is just stupid! Will also puts 7 coats of base on? The thicker the paint the quicker it fail’s! You never see a Graveyard car win a concourse show.
YOU HAVE A BEAUTIFUL CUDA LIKE THAT CALL IT A "PHEONIX" AND THEN PAINT IT....BLUE!!!??? WTF!? BLUE SHOULD NEVER BE PUT ON HOTRODS, GUITARS OR MOTORCYCLES!! EVER!

Cannot wait to see the next episode. What a special story
Love to see a restoration like this. Most others would have wrote the car off after the fire. Great to see it was saved!
Best youtube channel ever.
The banter is so out of this world randomly ridiculous. Love it, haha!

Mark is funny as all get out and he knows what he is doing 😂
I cannot watch an episode without cracking up no matter how hard I try. 😂
Larry was such a good dude! We miss you Larry!! RIP brother...The Cuda is looking killer!!!
What happened to Larry
Mark is Michael Scott in real Life, Love this Guy
One of my favorite episodes
Love the blue..wow crazy Hemi power..GORGEOUS CAR MAN..WOW BEAUTIFULL..MOPAR CARS..
Love you and what you do and all the crew ❤
I think it's great that graveyard cars can safe these jems
Totalmente sorprendente. La mejor muestra de que tu y tu equipo son los mejores restauradores de autos Mopar.
¿Querías decir "que no tu y tu equipo" ? Porque en Ingles es "not you and your team"
@@TronBonneVonne Gracias por la corrección. Mala mía. Corregiré.

Amazing restotation, great job GRC
I can't find the last video to the Phoenix Cuda build... has it been posted yet?
Wish i could find an old Bull Taco like i had when i was a kid. Ohh the memories and broken bones. lol
I've installed a few headliners,it's a job best left to the pros for sure .
I need that shirt! "I speak fluent movie quotes" !!!!!!!
Just awesome! Great job guys
Heyyy! Nice shirt! Got the same one! Love Jack! Heeeeeeere’s Johnny!

Good to see Royal again! He's a good foil to Mark 🤭
I'm not a Mopar guy but I do like them old cudas
this phoenix cuda will be amazing when it's done
Love that blue color
Bea , Utiful! . You guys are awesome. I want one 😫
What are those flaps in end of downpipes for?? Been trying to figure out but i keep coming up with choking engine out.

Mark reminds me of the character Michael Scott (Steve Carrell ) in the sitcom The Office.
We did that experiment in high school, took an average of 230 licks to get to center of the tootsie pop lol

How much it cost to complete car like this any guess guys . ?
Quick question. Where did the missing parts come from? Head intake and other parts.
Has Phoenix cues Ben finished and returned to Wendal?

Great video, the only reason Mark can be a smart ass is because the guy is super smart with a memory like an elephant. I only wish.......
owls vegetarians lmfao im sorry but you lost me at that hahahahaha
The content of this show is all over the place and the owner is absolutely muppet material.
I can't believe you shut it down before you finish breaking in the camshaft
I really hope Emma's Pink car is next in line.
Also looking forward to Emmas build
Owls are not Vegetarian.
They’re Carnivals.
That's why the cylinder head was off during the fire at 7:47, it dropped a valve...
Mark just went right into the danger Ozone..

Funny in the picture of mark 20 years ago he had silver hair but today he has foxy red/mahogany colored hair. he probably knows the colour code
No he comes in early to paint the cars so that you're not there and can leave him alone and not be a big pain in the ass!!
Really should have replaced all that old muffler pipes/muffler/tailpipes...
Nash Bridges had a Cuda convertible and yellow
Mark is the most un-likeable guy on the channel
Also any 1970 340 DUSTERS for sale
You have to heat them up before you put them in i work at Ford back in the 1970.. putting them in the cars in 3.. minutes
Owls don’t have butt holes, but they do have tongues, & it took 3 licks for the owl to get to center of a tootsie pop in the commercial “Ice Cream”! Lol
Darts never came from the factory with a hemi. But, some dealers would install a hemi as an option.
Prices for these cars have ruined it for the average hobbyist...its all about collectors now.
Will we ever see the completion video when Wendell takes it home??
Betrayal .. no , the man might not want you looking over his shoulder watching him work pops .. I know I don’t like it ..
I wonder how that restoration set the owner back.....I guess a 50-100 grand

Is that a Hitchcock film hahaha
i wish i won the lotto i would just come hang out and learn, No muscle cars like Mopar Muscle cars@!
But that Tootsie Pop commercial has been cut *WAY* down from what it was in 1970. You lose the gag of the full length commercial.

That car is not factory correct if it was it would not have base coat clear on it but it's still nice
Mark the total “Ice-Hole” did a remarkable job on the car.
Owner needs to focus on his day job...
Its always good saying the customer is "harrassing"......I thought only in Europe customer-service sucks more and more
