- London Noortropics founders, Zain Peer and Shez Shaikh are next to face The Dragons with their coffee business with a difference. They're seeking an investment of £50,000 in exchange for 10% to kickstart the next phase of their business plans. The main USP of their coffee business is that they aim to minimise the caffeine crash and anxiety often caused by standard cups of coffee on the market to name a few differences in their coffee compared to competitors.

Underrated comment
After I had chemo after cancer I had brain fog and no appetite. A friend sent me CBD pills and after a few days i felt much better. I would never believed it I didn’t try

For someone like me who enjoys more quality over quantity to nurish my body i would buy this (sorry about my engish)

Has anyone else realized that back in the early days of this show it seemed all the dragons cared about was deals that would realize gains for them? Nowadays it seems they like helping
entrepreneurs and giving them a chance over the risk in a lot of cases which I love. They are filthy rich anyways so good on them. 👍

Peter showing how Dragons use opposite arguments depending on how they feel about the product. Many companies they criticise for spending all their funds on stock or promotion but this time he says he is out because they left a cash buffer in the bank.
That's partly because different companies require different strategies. They claimed that £X spent on marketing results in £3X sales - he was effectively challenging that claim. If they had confidence in it, they should have already done so.

It’s cause you can’t do any online advertising on Google or social media about a CBD product, you could pay an influencer but CBD doesn’t have a good image and you automatically fall in the trap of “drug product”. So it is very difficult to market and grow

So CBD has very very little peer reviewed research, particularly into harmful side effects. It also must be consumed in high concentrations for any know effects. Ridiculous how unregulated this is, given how well known the harmful effects of cannabis are in the neurological research…
No less ridiculous than alcohol's legality when its harmful effects are even more pronounced than cannabis.
Same with nootropics, there are documented positive effects but in concentrations far higher than anything sold in these products.
It is like the dragons are high or something. I’ve never seen them so nice.
It seemed to me that the two ladies weren't investing in the product but Zainy and Shaiky. I don't think we'll see this product on the shelves of ASDA, Sainsbury's, etc, any time soon!!

Mushrooms are the best, lions mane etc are a must in your diet. Since taking them I am never ill, i feel great and all sorts of benefits. I can see it being good if they can be incorporated into coffee or drinks for sure, I take all of mine tablet form

I think that's a previous iteration of the company. Companies House says that London Nootropics Ltd was dissolved in 2019, but this episode was broadcast in 2022.
