More are being diagnosed. My daughter was diagnosed with autism at the age of 37. I have no idea why, suspected that it was pretty much b.s. She was always a very social girl, more than average amount of friends, made contact easily, no problems with eye contact. Studied a wide variety of subjects, wasn't hyper fixated on any one. Emotionally a bit unstable, which is why she talked to psychs. After she was diagnosed, she went on to make her own diagnosis of the rest of the family. We all had autism according to her. If her father and I went to psychs, we would probably get the same label attatched to us. The diagnosis was very different back in the sixties, seventies and eighties. My grandmother had a family next door with a boy of about 6 or 7 with autism. He never spoke or reacted if you spoke to him, never looked at you, was completely disconnected from reality. I think he was institutionalized when he was older. A lot were. Some were never spotted as ppl thought something else was wrong with them. A lot of such children were just given the label of childhood schizophrenia, or 'r3tarded'. They were considered stupid, brain damaged at birth, low IQ or something else.
It seems the argument is: "There is more autism cases today than in the 70,80's so the cause must be . It's probably because back in the day, it wasn't common to diagnose autism except for extreme cases, but if there was some other cause, there could be thousands of different candidates. No particular reason to assume it's vaccines.
What is evil about getting your child genetically tested? Parents do that all the time, both before and after birth. If the child has something wrong with it, they want to know what it is and what caused it.
Such a study wouldn't even make sense. Placebos are only useful in the short term, usually to measure efficacy not safety. There are long-term studies on prescription drugs because most of them are taken repeatedly on a long-term basis. If you receive one vaccination to protect against a specific disease, in the long term, how could you associate any problem with the vaccine as opposed to other factors. Even if you tracked "placebo" patients, their lives diverge over time. You would no longer have the proper controls in the study.

Dr. Hotze, I would like to thank you for improving the lives of children and parents. I can only imagine how difficult the past five or six years have been for you. We live in strange times when devoted scientists, pediatricians, and immunologists who work to save lives must protect and defend against threats to their own lives. How did we get here, where the pro-life and "save the children" hypocrites and the weekend twitter "researchers" feel they have the right to educate YOU, or worse yet, threaten you? I imagine that someone like RFK Jr., if nominated, would further complicate this situation. You do not deserve this. What you do deserve is a medal! 🏅
Nope. All children born in Denmark over about a 10 year period were studied to see if there was a correlation between their vaccination status and their having received the MMR vaccine. None was found. And that was only one study, they all had the same result. No correlation whatsoever. Truth hurts.

Question. Are there more autism cases today than in the 70,80’s? If so. Why?

Hotez is an example of true evil. He used his a daughter as a test subject.

There are no long-term pre-licensing placebo-controlled safey studies for any of the routine vaccines on the CDC childhood schedule.

Peter Hotez ...why does that very name inspire laughter and chills at the same time?
I don't know why you have that decidedly peculiar reaction to the guy's name.
You tell us why.
Because he's a lard ass trying to promote health by poison.
You shouldn't get your information for health decisions from guys like Hotez!
Dr. Peter Hotez is a complete joke. He refused a debate to RFK JR, even though RFK JR said he would donate $1M for any charity.
So an expert does not want to debate a quack and you think this makes the expert a joke? Ok, thanks for coming out!

According to the current CDC childhood recommended schedule a child could receive over 100 doses of 17 vaccines by the time they reach the age of 18.
Anti-vax folks have a special way of counting. NO, children don't receive 100 injections between birth and age 18.
