G'day Silver Struck, what an amazing collection of 1oz silver art bars, I think every bar would be worthy of making the top 10, it just comes down to personal preference, I was gobsmacked when you included the Kangaroo bar minted right here in Melbourne, Australia in your top picks, I love the Sunshine Mining Hong Kong bar, easy to see why you love the Beagle error bar, thanks for sharing these stunning bars. Very cool top ten or so! I’m glad I inspired you to make this video 😀 Hard to pick a top bar among so many great choices. I’d say the USSC Good Fortune 1974 is up there. Nicely done 👏
Very nice collection !!!! I like that wishing you good fortune ! Ussc is one of my favorite mints but too many bars to have them all but never say never lol
I'm have been working on my USSC collection for about one year now...I know there are some that I will never be able to find/or afford. They made some bars that are extremely rare and held in strong hands by collectors.
Whoahhh I am not old enough for some of these!! Those gun bars were really cool when you showcased them. I enjoyed many of them. Wynwood bar is REALLY cool. Never seen one of those. The HONG KONG IS AMAZING!!! Hong Kong might be my favorite of those but there are so many this year you have that I love. Not sure what my favorite over all would be. I think you had one with Neptune this year IF I remember correctly. That one still sticks out in my mind.
What a great collection of bars! You and Coinsense have the best silver art bars video's out there....I wish more people would do art bars video's. Glad to see two USSC bars on your top 10 list. Of your top ten picks I would say my favorite is the "Wishing you good fortune"...great artwork, nice toning...and is that a pot of silver at the end of the rainbow?
Wishing you good fortune is a cool USSC bar! CSAN is ahead of me in the USSC department, what a great collection he has going. Thank you for watching Bob! More bar videos are planned in the future👍😊
Nice selection for your top 10 vid. Out of the 11 bars u had out😂 I'm a big fan of the Impex and Wishing u good fortune. The Impex cuz its a Engel and super rare. The Fortune bar cuz of the cool design, intricate detail and the fact it's a USSC. Thanks for sharing your passion with us SS. What a sight to see all those 1oz bars on the table.
Always appreciate your comments, thank you! For rarity the Impex bar is right up there. That was found at the bottom of a bin at Dan's shop. I had no clue what it was, so I bought it and brought it home to do research. Lucky find on that bar!
Hell yes! That's an epic find! That's 1 that's burned in my memory that I'm always looking for just like that awesome Silvertowne. Take care Struck. I appreciate your solid content Always
My favorite bar that I've seen on your channel is the 10oz Silvertowne made by Engelhard. What a banger of a bar!!! 1oz are fun but I prefer the 10oz and bigger bars. Thanks for the awesome table full display SS
The Silvertowne counter stamp Engelhard is a great bar and pretty darn rare. I've had some luck out there, no doubt. I must say- what you come home with is very impressive! You have a great eye for silver- keep it going!
Thank u very much for the kind words Struck. Means the world to me coming from u. I'm still going strong just not posting cuz Ive moved onto pre33 Au. Don't like to post Au. Will pick up great vintage when I find it but have only come across a few as of lately. Enjoy your week ahead.
Wow, fantastic bars. I like 'em all, truth be told. I don't really have a favorite. If I were to pick a favorite, it would be your huge collection of those USVI bars. I love those little 1 ounce chunky monkeys. I was a bit surprised by the Beagle bar, until I saw the error on the back of the bar. That does add to the cool factor for sure. Fantastic collection though......first rate! Keep collecting & stacking those bars!
I was tempted to bring in the USVI's but decided to just keep the vid to pressed bars. Error pieces are great and that Beagle has a really obvious error-love it! With all those bars out on the table I did end up re-organizing, so the last GHB is full. I'll be starting another box soon. Happy Sunday my friend!

2 summers ago, my LCS had 100 of these vintage art bars from the early 70s come in the store. So, I bought them all. I paid a $2 premium at $26.75 ea. Some are duplicates and if i can ever figure out how to make a you tube video would love to show them. I think my favorite is the Exorcist bar. Anyway, thanks for showing.
Awesome bars SS - thanks for showing. I have only recently got into art bars (I’ve been into coins/rounds for ‘a while’) and the variation is really interesting. 👍. Is it ok to clean bars or is it the same as coins, i.e. never?
Cleaning silver- that's a hard one. For me, I never, ever clean coins. I will dip rounds sometimes (mostly proof finish). For bars, I have cleaned some using hot water and Baking Soda with good results. Typically I don't clean the bars and leave them as is.
@@UKDark_Mark Of course, glad to help. One last thing I forgot to say. I buy distilled water to rise the silver with after a dip or clean- keeps the minerals in tap water from hurting the silver.
Excellent question! Exit strategies are important. For this collection, I'm mostly having some fun. If I drop dead- my family will most likely just trade in this silver at spot. That's ok because I paid generic prices for most of my LCS finds, only paying up for some select bars. Should I live a long life, I will most likely sell to other collectors- peer to peer.
