- In today's video I'm out searching for some classic British car gems in Devon, specifically at the brilliant MoretonHampstead Motor Museum!
Set in an old bus depot, this hub for classic cars and light commericals wowed us with a fantastic array of automobilia joining the 150+ classic cars from the 1920s to the 1990s. A lovely little Wolseley 1500 greeted us to this motor museum, where in this full walkaround you will see some true classic British car gems such as an MG Magnette, Vauxhall Wyvern and even a pair of vintage AC tourers.
If you liked this walkaround then let me know in the comments, and remember to subscribe for similar content of classic car related shows and places.
Thanks for watching!

You compete well with Dad in this 'proper' museum in that it is not prettily presented but lovingly looked after to preserve our motoring heritage - like your family. Great shirt! Lol!
Rob
Some beautiful British metal
Well done Harvey . I was just as impressed with the toy model collection upstairs ....
Excellent! 👏😊
Another good one Harley. I do love the Riley Elf. I watched it first before your Dad's because I will have to order the popcorn, hotdogs, ice cream , pizza and Coke for his epic contribution today so that will have to be evening viewing
Nice very enjoyable and was great to see the 2 Vauxhalls the E and PA I had both of them my E was a Velox, another great commentary Cheers from Australia
Hi Harley 👋 I think i may have mentioned in a previous video about the Wolseley 1500 that is at the beginning of this video , how in Australia BMC built a Morris Major similar to the Wolseley 1500. If you go onto Google and key in Morris Major you will see what I mean. Thanks for your tour video of the motor museum.
A very good review of the cars in a great museum.
Well done H.
I didn't know that you were a mind reader. When you stuck the camera in that red Escort interior, I almost involuntary sniffed for the genuine '70s smell. Then you described the smell.
Oh my, you are an old soul.
Seems you're torn between the Wolseley 1500 and the Standard Vanguard.
I Look forward to seeing many more real cars, and your appreciation of them.
Thanks for the comment, I also love some of the pre war cars
I simply dont believe it! One of the first cars you show is a red, H registered Super Deluxe Ford Escort mark 1. My grandfather bought one of these new in Aug (I think) 1970 with the same registration H, same colour, same spec. His car was two door and had black seats. I see lots of Mexicos and racing mk1s but the early super delux mk1s are super rare (excuse the pun). Lovely start to the day - thanks.
I grew up in the days when boys in childhood were given pedal cars. I had a red one similar to the one in your video. It's a thing of the past now, kids don't own them nowadays.
I've got a Morgan one I had as a child, no plans on getting rid of it!!
@@CarTractionvids That's neat. Yes keep it and it will stay a part of your life.
Hi Harley I love watching car traction it's very interesting to see the information that you give an it's great to see the old car's I wish that we had them back on the road today they had a lot of character not like the cars today what we have today keep up with the great work your doing great to watch you good luck to you can't wait to see the next video Harley 👍 Martin from feltham
Thanks Martin!
Paid a visit last week and learned the owner is retiring around October this year. So, if you were thinking of a visit, now maybe the time.
Yep the museum is currently up for sale
Hi Harley you are a chip of the old block and a credit to your family you know all about everything you show and talk about in this video when you and your dad are in North Wales you are both be very welcome to see my collection I've known your dad for years from the days at tatton park car show on the j type Morris stand he told me that he was a dad now and had a baby boy with the name of Harley he took some photos of my Hillman at a show in Wales once it's a green convertible best wishes from Anglesey
The part with the car was class
I really enjoyed this week's video and saw quite a few cars I have either ridden in or driven. The Wolseley 6/80, the Vauxhall Velox and Cresta, Morris 8 and more. I guess why I find yours and your Dad's channels so appealing - loads of memories. I don't know if you're into PC gaming at all but I play quite a bit of Forza Horizon 4 (set in England) and some of the cars I see on here turn up in the game. Very cool. Take care.
Yes I do have that game which I play sometimes!! Thanks for watching
The wolsley Hornets remind of when they had rolls-royce coversion kits for your VW beetle 😂. Lets slap a regal grille on an economy car. I do understand the austere times they were born out of to be clear.
As an ageing dad I can boast ownership of Mk1 Vauxhall Victor, Mk1 and 2 Escorts, Austin 1100 was my second car after an old plastic pig! nothing fancy just good workers unlike that beautiful D type.
