We are always emphasizing that everybody rides within their limits. We’re quick to call out folks for pushing too hard or trying to prove something. That’s a quick way to ruin a ride, a bike, or a life for something silly
You guys are moving along pretty good there. Just retired, bought house in Simpsonville SC and thinking about getting back into motorcycles. Watching your group ride I think I'm going to add the concours 14 to the list of possible bikes I might want to purchase. Nice video!!!
James, thanks. We have a blast. Look for the Kawasaki Concours 14 Enthusiast Group on Facebook, if you’re interested in plugging into this group. It’s got like 4500 folks on it from all over the world. It’ll help you plug into several events we put on!

James Phil Parker here. I’m sorry, but Facebook is the only medium other than the occasional video that references it. Facebook simply makes it easy to grow a group like this and has made it possible to grow from 125 to just shy of 4600 now. We don’t collect funds and it’s just me and one Yggdrasil guy. I know some doesn’t care to be a part of Facebook, but you’d be surprised how many belong the the C14 Enthusiast group and nothing more. As for the Connie, me personally, I’m on my 5th Sport Touring bike - 3 late model BMWs, both R and K type, and now, 2 Concours 14. I put 100,000 on my 2010 and I bought a 2017. Both are easily the best, most reliable, fastest, most torque and most versatile bikes I know of. Simply put, it’s a total blast if you can see that in Dan’s video. I think I’m one bike ahead. Watch the other video too. We did this for 10 days. I think Dan would agree, this os one hell of a bike and they can be had at a great value. I don’t know your budget, but buy used - but at least a 2010 which is Gen 2 or Gen 3 (2015+). Seriously- how many factory bikes do you know that come with a 3 year, unlimited mike warranty that is fully transferable to 6 years. I know of none. Hope that helps.
man that connie in front is bringin those side cases really close to the ground. I know he knows his bike well but if he had to lean a bit more and he hits those cases he is going to have a brown streak moment. Perhaps is better to remove the side cases for this type of riding
Excellent riding. The group was riding smooth. No one looked like they were riding over their head.

@@danielcoook absolutely 💯 correct.
those wide sweeping turns are perfect for those big heavy bikes.

@@danielcoook hey thanks i appreciate it. Only problem is that I'm not on Facebook. Is there any other way to follow the concours enthusiast?

Bravo, one hell of a ride!
Excellent video!!!! I have a 2020 C14 and love it!
Can’t wait to get mine! 2022
Cool video. I am a newbie with gopro and some motovlogging. How did you get the speedo and map graphic on there?
Use the GoPro app or software, edit the video with it, and add “Stickers.” Many options are available, beyond these two.
