- Its been a while but I'm starting to make a trailer for my 1:14th rc truck and instead of a normal trailer I wanted to recreate one of my favourite rides Kmg speed Or known as other names across the uk Booster, Storm etc. It's all 3d printed using sketch up to draw the plans out. Thats very cool I found it hard try to do the math half way is 18m and 36m to the top but what I don't understand is how long is the arm from the platform and arm to arm length
Yeh it’s taken me a while to figure a lot out I’m going off pictures and working it out along the way. On kmg site they have a detailed drawing of the ride with dimensions but not in detail but u can get a rough idea.
After you have made the model can you sell the dimensions of your art work or do you post probs keep it secret haha. You should be able to buy these kmg models in the shop by now
Each arm from the middle of the Axel to the end of the fibreglass protective thingo is about 17.2m (to the end of the arm not including the gondola is around 16.3m), by using this 17.2m x 2 arms is 34.4m, the platform is a little over 1.4m leaving about 15cm between the floor and the protective glass part of the side of the gondola (when it’s at its lowest), hope this helped !
@@thrillfreak thanks so much man really appreciate it I'm gonna take my laser pointer to the show this year measure from the top give me sometime to do I love the way it looks and shaped the angle of it is amazing. the XXXl ride or inversion 12 kmg is really cool. I measured that the platform is 2m about the ground from platform to the middle point it at 10m to 10.5 m then the top witch is a balances the ride I gotta find out that aha. @@thrillfreak I measured it was 34m to the bottom platform so its 35.5m high 19.3m half way
