Actually 2 bugs in 1 vid, at 0:38 you can see Ryze E's super minion - E spreads, but super minion SOMEHOW isn't marked.
He later Q's the super minion and it doesn't target other units - so it's not a visual bug.

I think it's 1 bug, as it seems like it's about interacting with first target hit.
It seems the ability do hit, but doesn't effect the target itself. This makes sense, since the E didn't effect the super minion, but spread out to the others. This means it did hit, but didn't interact with the first target. This seems to be the same through the video. In the Brand and minions part, the Q didn't deal bonus spread dmg, as it didn't interact with first target, and since interacting/killing is a requirement for it to spread, it won't.

@@MrBlauenfeldt ryze didnt throw the E to the super Minion, if u look at It u can see the E going past the super Minion and hitting the other one behind it
@@PoderSensuaaaal if you slow down to 0.25 speed you can see that he actually did target the super minion with his e.

To prevent Ryze for being picked in pro play we decided to nerf his Q range
Looks like there are two bugs here. In the super minion clip at 0:37, the super minion seems to not get hit by the E despite being targeted by it, but takes full damage from the Q. My guess is that both of these are due to some shenanigans where Riot tried to give Ryze EQ the same treatment as some other proc spells (I think Cass QE works the same way), where it checks if the target has the status on them at launch to do some extra magic, but it's not quite working as intended.
I think is the same bug that the projectile hits the target but doesn't do anything
I guess Riot really hates the Blue Men in the player base.
Vandiril, there is a bug on Lissandra, where her passive ghosts can steal the wisp of Blue and Red Buffs (The one that drops after killing the buffs).

@babiniu His pick rate is one of the lowest in mid lane, and he's seen even less higher up. So the few mains he does have are really struggling to make the champ work. Champs with low pick rates tend to have higher winrates and vice versa. So for a champ picked so little with that winrate would indicate ryze is pretty weak
Game is struggling itself, 167 champions is number that couse players to dont even notice they dont see some champions often and in same way some are making feeling like they are present in every game.
I can believe this ryze bug and a lot more are in game for longer but those bugs are about those forgotten champions so nobody notice it

They are boring to play, thats it, not weak. U can even run league and play game of ryze and im pretty sure that u wont say that he is weak, u will just get bored of EQ and when u get roa+archangel u will start rolling over enemies, as far as they wont pick long range bs, then yes u will lose,
Still can we really say that Ivern all of champs above need buffs? They have almost same winrate as ryze and lower pickrate than him, so it adds up no?

More people play ziggs Nilah, Olaf and etc., so it means they r worse on them AS THEY DONT MAIN THEM
It makes their winrate justifiable, but less people play more games on Ryze (mains) and they barely keep this number

This bug has been in the game for years... I have reported this like 5 or 6 years ago when I was maining Ryze top for a bit and noticed the range being bugged as hell. Riot doesn't listen to support tickets so I just stopped sending them. Almost every champ has a gameplay bug in some way shape or form.
Literaly while typing this comment, my GF found a bug in TFT too. Shit's unreal

@@mauricewagner5383 she got a hwei with an encounter (get a random 5-cost). It's supposed to duplicate a champion after X rounds depending on the cost of the champ. She had hwei for 4 or 5 round but it didn't duplicate her 3-cost diana

And somehow, they managed to broke Ryze without doing anything to him
Just another reminder that all the spaghetti code is interconnected, and somehow, someway, something like adding a ward skin will fuck up an entire champions kit.

There's no real solution except to just fix the problems because the language and engine aren't the problem. If you don't fix the problems, no matter what engine you use, you will still have problems.
@@Hani300 Theres no good solution to this anymore. Theres been too many programmers over too long of a time to properly unspaghettify the existing code, meanwhile actually rebuilding the game in a new engine would mean sacrificing dev time from game updates. The second option would mean massive loss of profits over a long period of time, and thus is not an option their investors would ever agree to.
So they put out patchwork updates at most to keep the money ball rolling, until eventually things come to a true breaking point.

idk but i seen this exact bug happen to zilean, seraphine and fiora Q aswell last few weeks.
You've heard of lollipopping before; A skill getting extra range or radius at the end of its original range, similar to a lollipop.
As per the new Ryze rework v 17.34, we're introducing "jawbreaker"; The skill has shorter range than usual and your jaw will drop to the floor because of the things you'll miss

Hecarim Q has a similar issue, Q has a larger range than his auto but you can still miss the ability when in auto range. This is easiest to replicate on Drake. Issue started about a year ago.

lol, and I thought that I keep missing my Q when I played yesterday 3 Ryze games. I legit started to doubt myself lowered my DPI, but obviously it didn't help. Now I know why :)
isnt it weird how the q not just has short range, but it just vanishes as soon as it enters range of the e'd target. Its like skill shots are coded to either miss or hit based off some variables. Idk how to explain but I guess this explains why naut hook can just travel through nothing and hit you, also how some other hooks literally travel through things and still hit you once in a thousand times
This makes a lor of sense, so I wasn't insane once in my life..

There was in the beginning the most fitting, lore accurate version of ryze❤ the all powerful mage. Please bring him back. The reworks never did him any good.

Almost every game I get at least one bug. Q/Breath getting hard locked mid flight happens far too often. Have had this happen in key fights and probably lost some games because of it.
