I don’t usually get shocked when watching movies, but that scene where Green Goblin told Spider-Man that weed has been legalized had my jaw on the floor, I did not expect that twist.
Its annoying to me that with Batman and Superman everybody knows that Joker and Lex Luthor are the archenemys of those heros but with Spiderman i think only Spiderman comic book fans really know that Green Goblin and Norman Osborn is his archenemy because other Spiderman stuff does not really focus on that as much as they do with Batman and Superman and Joker and Lex Luthor. Most people think Venom or Doctor Octopus is Spidermans archenemy from what i have seen.
@@CyberLance26 I hope now they know. Green Goblin always f*ck Peter up in personal level in the comic. Just like an archenemy should, and they did justice in this one too.

This movie gave Tom Holland's so much character development it's insane. I used to just think of him as strictly a teenager and he wouldnt be able to get into more adult oriented arcs. But that changed after this film. Effectively done. Mind the fan service.

The part when Vin Diesel came in through the multiversal portal and told everyone we're family was the greatest moment I've ever witnessed in cinema... It was all ruined when the Amazing Bulk came and decapitated him though 😢.
Spider-Man: No Way Home is one of the most emotional MCU-Films so far. A lot of my praise goes to Willem Dafoe. He is truly a force of nature and in the middle of so many famous names, he managed to completely steal the scene every time he was on screen. That man can truly act. Every man alive and who have seen a spiderman movie or read there comics when they were a little kid did exactly this. I remember pretending to swing around the house, grabbing onto walls pretending to wall crawl and shit. Have not seen the movie but tomorrow at 11 I'm going to the cinema and I can't be happier to hear that apparently they absolutely killed it this time around. Unlike allot of people I liked the other 2, they weren't the best but I liked how they were giving us a young Peter Parker who actually seemed young. He was boyish and just wanted to be like the heroes who saved new York when he was a kid and so he looked up to Tony. And from what I'm reading now he really comes into his own this movie and I cannot wait to see it myself

@@djraider He's been in 6 films and hasn't done crap on his own. Disney already butchered the character just like they did with most of the MCU characters. The next 3 spiderman films will be no different.
They actually retconned and fixed MCU Spider-Man at the end of this film. He’s no longer relying on stark tech and his links to the Avengers. He’s completely on his own and that feels like real growth for this version of the character. Also thank god he finally made his own suit
I also love that it quite makes sense too. I mean, he used stark tech for the old suits, so he breaks the connection that would allow any other avenger to make the link between Stark and spiderman,he truly becomes a stranger to everyone. He's no longer Iron junior.
Nice to see he’s becoming more of the classic spider man we know, with the new comic inspired costume and living a shitty apartment and having to pay rent and stuff like that is great. And also the fact no one knows him and takes heed of him
Im going to be cryptic as hell about this but if you watched the movie you'll know who Im talking about. I love how the movie brought closure to this one character that had a traumatic experience in the last movie he was in. The way he acted in this film and how he accepted his regrets and doens't want anyone else to experience what he went through hit me really hard when that scene happened. The studio did him dirty before but I am glad we finally get a real ending to his story. I didn't know how much i needed from this film till now.
I think I get it now - Andrew Garfield's Spiderman successfully catching MJ as she was falling. That was a good "redemption" moment - perhaps both for the character and the actor.
Best plot twist and moment in general was when Norman Osborn said to Peter Parker "You know, I'm something of a Spider-Man myself" and they team up to take on the villains. It's like they took your expectations built up over the franchise and went back to formula.
I'm both surprised and impressed that this is actually very close to what happened. Not only does he team up with spiderman at one point, but he even says "I'm something of a scientist myself."
Just cemented that William Defoe is the GOAT of Spider Man's villains. They did a great job showing how strong he was, he literally smiles while Spider Man is punching him in the face like its a kitten pawing at him. Loved it.
Raimi movies are the best Spider-Man movies. And this is why, because Tobey wasn’t the only star of the films. Doc Oc was also another amazing villain.
I loved that scene where Lightning McQueen shows up and teaches the Green Goblin "turn left to go right" turning his desire for death and misery into an unstoppable desire for Piston Cup success.
I thought that part was alright, but for me the scene that stole the movie was when the incredibles show up and say "Now this is how you do a super hero movie"

@@danielz-v4083 I wouldn't call it flawless. The edits, scene cuts, the flaws, the way they dealt with problems, some characters screentimes and motivations, some scenes being dragged were all over the place. @@ColemanCovers no it’s not. It was cringe. Spiderman 3 was far better than this cash grab of a movie by Disney. Don’t spread your cheeks for Disney every time they come out with an Mcu movie. This movie ruined the villains

The first part of the film. Just cheesy really cheesy thats why it was clunky it just seemed weird also rushed. The parts about mat murdoch showing up and big deal in the trailers made about peter being a villain was non existent. At no point in the film did it feel like peter was about to go to jail or that he was a victim. It was rushed! No way is this the best superhero movie. Go back and watch it! Tom Holland is a great actor. But, next to Tobey and Andrew, he just didn't quite capture the seriousness or the brightness or the awkwardness of Spider man.
The fact that Superman was there to help Spider Man fighting the bad guys was just pure movie magic. I can't wait to see how the Multiverse would tie to Matt Reeves' The Batman, that would be dope af 😂😂😂
I just watched this at the IMAX with low expectations. However, I left extremely satisfied - definitely Tom Holland's best portrayal of the character, well written and nicely paced.

I hope Tobey Maguire knows just how big of a role he played, not only in Spider-man but in the comic book community as a whole, it's him and Sam Raimi who are to thank for essentially the birth of the MCU and the inspiration to filmmakers everywhere who have made excellent comic book movies, an entire generation of fans, actors and filmmakers alike are standing on their shoulders and if I have an inspiration, it would have to be Sam Raimi for reinforcing the message that was in the comics from the beginning and exists with the character even today that anyone can be Spider-man and that it's about doing the right thing, that's why I consider the Raimi trilogy the best series of comic book movies of all time and Raimi himself as one of the best filmmakers of all time
To be fair, I think the criticisms about Tom Holland's Peter behaving younger than everyone else are almost entirely due to people forgetting his trilogy takes place while he's a 15-17 year old kid around his experienced (read: cynical) adult heroes. Given the world's trajectory over the last 20 years, I suspect, many of us have forgotten what being a kid was like because we had to grow up really quickly (I admit, I forgot for awhile). Personally, I appreciate the MCU allowing Pete to have a wide-eyed optimism for awhile. He doesn't need to be a dour Snyderverse character.

It was astonishing to see Spider-Man web swing for the first time. After years of seeing him just walk around, we’ve come a long way. I loved this movie. Never thought I’d see that happen.
Andrew Garfield is THE perfect example of a phenomenal actor suffering from bad writing. He absolutely owned every scene he was in, he outshined Tobey and Tom with his charisma and acting skills; he proved that he’s not only the best Spider-Man but also the best Peter Parker. Unfortunately, he‘ll probably always be known as „the other guy“ because Sony and the writers ruined his 2 movies.
People actually liked Andrew "Werewolf" Garfield. To a generation of kids, he was the Spider-man. Tobias was my Spiderman and the internet gave him hate because he was too old but I thought he played the part with so much heart. However, Andrew made it his own. I didn't hate it. I actually was so invested in him finding out what happened to his parents that I hope they can give his character some closure in this movie since he never got his trilogy.
The part where the crowd around me cheered on the most was when Spider-Man was losing against the bad guys, a car came out of nowhere to kill them. The twist was that Vin Disel stepped out with uncle Ben and said Nothing is stronger than family. The bigger twist is that the car is Lightning McQueen. And everyone was chanting "Family! Family! I can’t tell you how happy I am to hear that this movie ACTUALLY feels like a Spider-Man movie! That was my biggest complaint about the recent MCU Spider-Man films.
The moment when Luke Skywalker appeared and chop doc ock in half with his lightsaber was too brutal. But i'm happy that he taught Peter the Force and excited about what he gonna do with it in the future. Solid movie 9/10
The ending was such a cop out, calling Captain Marvel to beat all the villains while Spidey made himself a web hammock and enjoyed the show with a cool drink 😎

This movie was so much better then I thought it was going to be. I cried like 4 times. I hadnt watched any trailers or seen any spoilers so went in fresh
Damm lucky you I shouldn't have watched any of the trailers. Marvel spoiled it by showing the villains in the trailer imo. i didn't get that shock/excited feeling when they appeared .
I already watched it, its a masterpiece and here are my reviews. No spoilers Focus on the villains, their dialogues and acting are the best part of this show. The biggest "reveals" in this show are some of its cheesy moments, its pure fan service but most of you will like it. Heroes' dialogues are very emotional and funny. Lots of good actions andteamwork even though with too much villains, their screentime naturally gets very limited. The ending is bittersweet, no kidding, it really feels like a soft reboot, I made me think about the deals between Sony and marvel. And they tease on the possibility of a black spiderman somewhere in the show.
@@Melqhii ehhh I don't think Miles Morales appearing in NWH was something people thought would happen. So the fact that he was even mentioned was good enough lol
The one thing this movie absolutely nailed about Spiderman is the concequences to his actions. That was something that was always lacking a bit in the previous films, but they did it really well here. He managed to make everyone forget about him, but he lost literally everything in the process
I did not like toms Spider-Man, until this movie. For me this is the first actual Spider-Man movie the MCU has. Great action, great villains, and is actually dark. The problem with the previous two is that they were more of a high school movie than anything. This has everything I want from a Spider-Man movie. It’s not the best, but it’s definitely in the top 3(or 4).
I remember when they were saying homecoming is inspired by John Hughes and Ferris Bueller's day off but I don't think that's the right direction to go in for a Spiderman film.
It's a team up movie not his movie tho... multiverse stuff and shit.. Old Spider-Man movies would've been hella great than this if they used the multiverse excuse 🤡
I gotta say that this is how Marvel movies should be made. This film truly gives you the right, genuine Marvel experience ever. It was so rightly done, first of all, the characters seemed strong, charismatic, unique in their own way, not like other films, where villains don't power at all! Green Goblin, Doc Oc are the most important mentions. Other villains also were cool, there's always going to be some characters that can be placed to the 3rd role, but it's alright, you can't shed a light for them all, because there's a limit as duration of the movie. Marvel movies should made with balanced plot of the movie, the characters that are straight from comics i.e they can fight, they can give awesome battle royals of any kind and have their own charisma. They should not kill off these characters so that viewers can see that they're strong and powerful and can be saved for other appearances. Other fascinating things are Easter Eggs that are clear and some are described by the heroes of the film for the audience to understand them a little. This film was felt I was reading comic book, because the change of frames was pretty fast and it was like these "windows" in a comic. It was really hot movie, it had fire, it had passion and humor which is not so cringeworthy. That's pretty all of it.

Green Goblin is terrifying in this one. Goddamn. Truly a Spider-Man's archenemy, Willem Norman is nasty af, just like the comic. Damn.
This movie is violent like the classic Raimi movies. It is definitely the best in the Tom Holland trilogy.

A lot of my praise goes to Willem Dafoe. He is truly a force of nature and in the middle of so many famous names, he managed to completely steal the scene every time he was on screen. That man can truly act. He shined brighter than I thought possible.

One of the great things about this movie is how much it made me appreciate Tom’s Peter more than before. His character development has reached its peak here and was executed well. Without giving much away he officially came out to be your friendly neighborhood Spider-Man, gone are the Iron Boy Jr days for good and I’m excited to see his future in the franchise

I’ll be honest man I didn’t care about Tom Holland’s Spider-Man for like the first 4 movies but FFH was the movie that finally got me on board I thought everyone was good in that movie
Tom Holland is a great actor. But, next to Tobey and Andrew, he just didn't quite capture the seriousness or the brightness or the awkwardness of Spider man.
For real, his mature stage reminds me of Tobey's Spiderman.

Idk I think Blade with Wesley Snipes paved the way
Also X-Men.
But he is old in this one. Andrew looks great tho.
Ahem, you're forgetting Michael Keaton and Batman filmd, and the original Superman films. Those were the OG superhero films.

Sorry, but I don't agree with you the Sandman was alright.
@@maximchechelnitsky5884 Wdym Raimi had to chop alot of him out the movie when producers had him focus on venom but what he had to work with was good stuff. Showing his little girl at the and beginning really pulled at the heart strings and when he was turned to sand and couldn't grab her locket it really pulled at the feels. He had that defining quote for his character early on that he wasn't a bad man, just had bad luck and that was relatable af. And when him and Peter had that moment on the building and Peter forgave him ngl as a kid even l cried cause if you think of it that was the theme of the movie. @@maximchechelnitsky5884 its not like i said he was bad, his story was just rushed so much it made it pointless. the weird anger issues it gave spidey ended up feeling pretty awkward, which lead to the awkward peter/venom scenes also being weird. not that i need anyone to do this, but there are probably already sites who have timers for how long certain characters were on screen and the number of lines. as much you may like what you got, he was a "sample" of a real story in spiderman 3. who knows maybe my memory is off kilter? but it might have been better if they intertwined a bit of Harry's plot with Sandman somehow?

@@sunnysied713 Exactly. I loved his portrayal in Infinity War because he took becoming an Avenger like a man, stood his ground, it was a far cry from his childlike manner (granted he was a child in it but they played it up 100%) in Homecoming, only for them to literally do it again in Endgame and hurt the emotional impact of Infinity War. It amazes me that Spider-Man 3 was an overstuffed mess, Amazing Spider-Man 2 was an overstuffed mess, and yet No Way Home manages to be not just the best MCU outing, not just one of the best MCU movies, but one of the best Spider-man movies ever made.
