This is the best fireplace video because it's actually of a real fire - not just a fire on loop with fire-like sounds playing in the background. It's framed nicely too, so your TV gives the illusion of being a real fireplace. I put this on every night while I'm reading or on my computer.
Wish this had been in 4K or at least 1080. Guess the next time I make a fire in the ole fireplace, I'll need to record it like this in 4k. Great sound!

Watched this video for probably 70 to 100 hours for past month, I get up at 5:00 am and most of December, I turn it on with Christmas music and love it. Had it playing all Christmas day in the corner of the living room with 15 guests over for the ultimate blended modern family with our 7 kids, ex wife, new sorta inlaws etc. the point is - THANK YOU FOR CREATING THIS, IT HAS ENRICHED MY/OUR LIL CHRISTMAS SEASON :D btw > little things ALWAYS/ALL WAYS matter!

This IS the best fireplace video and I've seen dozens. Most show the same picture for hours, the fire never changes or naturally dies down. The whole point is to feel homey. Someone adding a log, stirring it around...what could be more real like it's in your own living room. THANK YOU!!

You would never expect something as simplistic as a fire to be so relaxing. I think in today's society we take the simple things, like nature and the elements, for granted and don't appreciate them as much as we should.

I'm in a small apartment 4 floors above the beach in Punta del Este, Uruguay. Outside, it's raining heavily and cold: 11ºC/51ºF outside and bone chilly here inside, since I've not moved much for several hours seated in front of this screen. Among all the fireplace videos I've tried on RUclips, This IS the best! Thank you. (For me, interestingly, it's the sound that evokes having a real fire going in a fireplace. I feel warmer.)

I love to chromecast this to my bedroom tv while I read before bed. I love the interactions of the fire being stoked. It reminds me of Christmas with my grandparents. My Pop-Paw would stoke the fire. Wonderful times.
The coolest thing about watching fireplace videos on a 55 plasma TV is that you can actually come close to the TV and feel the heat! :) Its true. Try it! Plasma TVs warm up quite a bit. I haven't tried on my newer LED, but the plasma in my large cold loft in the city was the perfect virtual fireplace!
Just sitting here watching makes me feel warm. And the sound is SOO comforting. Its engrained in us from a long time ago I do believe.

If you start filming at 3 am it is amazingly quiet.

For medical reasons I have to avoid being around fireplaces. Being exposed to the dry heat and fireplace smoke affects me in a bad way! This is a very lovely fireplace video and I greatly enjoy watching it on my monitor with the sound up to listen to the wonderful crackling/popping of the fire which makes me feel warmer on cold winter days. Thank you so much for posting this awesome fireplace video.

I've had a really bad fever all day and I got tired of trying to go to sleep (spent like 6+ hours just rolling around) so I finally tried to find something to do on the computer and this video is keeping me nice and warm. I know that's odd but its working really well.

when i hear this sound i want to sit in front of the fire and feel the warm heat from the fireplace, drink a cup of warm good tea and read a good book and then fall asleep in front of the warm fireplace. i wish i had a fireplace but i live in an apartment.
We put a hot water bottle in front of it and put our feet up bu the fire to get warm. ☺️

What did u use to project it from? My iPhone 5 plugs into the USB port on my tv but won't play on the tv and I guess I figured since u r a teacher u might know why.
Robin Adams What you need is: www.amazon.com/Apple-MD826ZM-Lightning-Digital-Adapter/dp/B009WHV3BM/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1418799714&sr=8-1&keywords=hdmi+to+lightning as well as an HDMI cord going form the converter to your TV (or you could use VGA with a different converter). The fact that your USB charger will plug into a slot on your TV doesn't mean it will display through that because for this context it is not supposed to for whatever reason.

Thank you so much for this video. When we looked for a believable fireplace video, all we found were endless loops of the same short video, where the fire never changed or looked real. Then we found this and were blown away! We burned a "campfire memories" incense to get a suggestion of the smoky smell and watched it twice. It made our Christmas Day; thank you again.

Bunkered down in my room covered in a thick silk blanket and wearing a headset, The Road in hand and Rainymood looping in the background, changed the sound settings to have it appear behind and slightly to my left where my closed window actually is, and the fire in front.
An hour past midnight in a pitch black room, save for the fireplace video looping in mute on my TV screen in front of me, and several cans of ice cold coke in a fridge box next to me.
You people have no idea how immersingly realistic this looks, sounds and feels.
You must be fun at parties.

My oncologist kept using ridiculously complex and unnecessary "doctory" terms like "spot on your lung." So to shut him up and cut down on medical bills, I kicked my habit of burning LCD monitors in my fireplace. This video lacks the wondeful fumes, but it's as close as I can get in the hospitals burn ward. Thanks A++ video.

I wish I could figure out why this won't work on my tv. It works fine on my iPhone 5 , perhaps I have to have an Apple TV because Apple does like to corner the market on everything. Even when my daughters iPhone 4 had the screen crack I got her an Ihome thing so she could listen to her music and charge her phone until the screen got so bad it was cutting her fingers then of course the iPhone 5 had a different sort of plug so her home speaker/charger became useless due to the different size of the charger. The last apple product I will buy as soon as this phone breaks it will be samsung all the way! The Samsung galaxy4 active is even waterproof and they keep getting better!
