EPIC Whitetail Deer Hunting in Saskatchewan Canada | Tikka T3X Lite .308 Win

- In this episode I headed out on a big whitetail hunting trip with my buddies Chris and Brad! I hunted with these boys last year too and they know what they are doing!
This year I am hunting with my brand new Tikka T3X Lite .308 Win rifle, and it is a beauty!! I zeroed the rifle in at 200 yards and it worked wonderfully for me, both at 300 yards and 50 yards, as shown in the video of my two deers.
It was such an epic weekend of whitetail deer hunting with great friends! I hope you enjoy this episode as much as I enjoyed making it!! Thank you very much for watching!! See you next time!!

Nice buck and nice shot!!! What ammo were you using? I got my first .308 this year and it’s deadly on deer and hogs using Winchester XP 150 gr. Congratulations again!

Just bought a Stevens 308 Woodstock very nice gun ain’t shot it yet I’m new to the 308 so we will see how it goes

I just bought a Tikka t3x Hunter walnut a few days ago, I havent use it yet. These tikkas have a very good reviews. Was you hunting in a deer farm? or they were wild?
Nice! I think you'll love it. I sure like mine a lot. They were wild. They tend to bunch up when the weather gets colder at late fall!

What’s best cartridge to buy ? All rounder ?
Great question, different people may have different answers. And it depends on what you are doing too. If you are deer hunting, or any medium game hunting, for distances within 500 yards, you can't go wrong with the 308 win.
Good round, readily available and relatively affordable. Also 308win gun barrels last a long time too.
@@LuRanOutdoors what about all rounder ? Would 308 be good with bear and elk ?
Both the buck and the doe you harvested , seem to have been shot near the rear / gut area .
Did you find the meat tasted poorly after two gut kills ?
They were actually both non gut shots. Buck was quartering towards me, bullet went in behind the right shoulder, nicked the spine I think and got out a bit back on the other side, but luckily not gutted. And the doe, also quartile towards me, completely destroyed a shoulder, no gut shot, fortunately.
