Hello..... thanks for the info. I have a question. How can you tell the accumulators left and right or it doesnt matter what side ? Are they the same? Today is may 18 2024. Thank you in advance.
I bought mine off eBay. There are some people who remanufacture these. Check their feedbacks to see who does a good job. I was pressed on time, but if you have time you can order a shift solenoid kit and do it yourself. Theres screens and build up that need to be cleaned inside the valve body.
tow mode when enabled does not allow the trans to go into 4th gear. theres a button on the dash for it. Its in the owners manual to find your exact location of the button.
You skipped over the hardest part of this process. Removing the clip on the right side. You showed it, but made it seem as easy as can be. Not easy at all. Also, there aren’t 2 clips on the drivers side.
thanks for your feedback. I didnt show that because its a common slide the clip sideway, press the tab and lift connector. I believe every single electrical connector on this and every vehicle is made that way. Also, once you lower the trans rear, it is very easy to see and do this. No tricks required. Its almost impossible to do without lowering the rear of the trans.
the video is about replacing the valve body. I show where the shift solenoid is on the valve body. You cant get to the shift solenoid without removing the valve body or skipping any steps in this video. The shift solenoid is held on to the valve body by a couple screws. Swapping the shift solenoid shouldnt need any explanation if youve gotten this far.
Where did you buy the valve body from
This is extremely helpful thank you
Thanks for the help
Think this will work if one second I had reverse with no issues from transmission to no reverse? Pcm and tcm already replaced after this happened.
Hi, Great video. What's the name of the place that you got the remanufactured mountain body from? Thanks
I got a p0870 wonder if mines done or can I just do this (update worked great 👍) thanks man
thanks for sharing that info! Glad you fixed it!
Hi, I'm trying to lower the tab but it's stuck with the piece that has the spring. What should I do?

if I remember they are both the same size, but I made sure to put each in the original spot should there be any wear. I do that with everything tho.
Hello, do you mean to put the transmission into low gear from the shifter inside the car...or do it manually from the underneath?? Thanks in advance.
inside the vehicle, put the shifter in low
@@TheWorldAsSeenByTom Thank you!! Owe you a cold beer!!!
Where did you order the valve body from? Is it dependable?

Do you mean in first gear ?
yes
What about the 3 balls under the solenoid
😂you mean the 3 ball bearing that fall out from who knows where😂
How much time in total did it take
around 2-1/2 hrs.

Im having trouble with the brown connector my hand doesn't fit to to get to it, did you take the drive shaft off aswell for the rear differential?
we removed the trans crossmember and that helped lower the back of the trans and we could reach every connector.
Im trying to do this but my jeep Liberty does not have Low only 1 and 2 do i put it in second gear or first gear for low?
put it in the lowest gear

You didnt show any information on the shift solenoid, which is what this video is supposed to be about.
