9:57 🤣 I was so excited to see that these were coming in budget form. I was pretty disappointed to see them coming in button lock but when I noticed the deleted front flipper I was out. Should have kept the front flip and just made it a liner lock. Why would they do this? Plunge type button locks must be the absolute cheapest possible way to make a knife. Sad
I love the design of the Fenrir, and if Tenable had done just about anything other than a plunge lock I'd be all over it. I just really dislike plunge locks.
Yeah, no. The Fenrir came out first, in 2023. And even if it had not, all knife designs at this point are derivative or taken in inspiration from other designs. I can’t say this 100%, but I’m fairly certain that Borka, a custom knife maker, first did this blade style - or at least they are who made it popular. They then collaborated with microtech to make the production stitch. So again, just about everything is derivative from something that proceeded it in the knife world. You can only have so many blade and handle shapes that actually work well.
ALL GOOD it happens! but yup their sister companies! and i agree. im not worried about it unless a company puts out a knife that is trying to be something else. then its a striaght copy straight clone, i dont like that. if its similar in its looks but has its own name etc. i dont look much further
Red and black, button lock and thumb stud, this one is right up my alley! Guess the guys in the comments don’t realize that button locks are very popular at this price range.
Looks absolutely awesome, but the plunge lock kills it! What a shame I would have bought this instantly if it had a different lock. The knife world definitely needs more poon! Carrying a spyderco pm2 salt and a kizer muskrat with a CZ P01. Thanks for the content as always, bro!🙏
Im giving my first impression of a knife. This isn't a review. I tell you about it and what I see for you to decide. I've spent thousands upon thousands upon thousands of dollars on knives. I think that gives me that ability to talk about a knife PAL.
@@GBall_Vision Your video is technically well made & your presentation comes across well enough but it is, whether you are aware of it or not, influenced by the fact that you were gifted the knife. I am a lifelong pocket knife carrier, mostly but not exclusively a Swiss Army Knife aficionado. On any given day when I go out my EDC consists of 2 knives - one is always a 58mm Midnite Manager (or a Midnite Mini-Champ) as my default keyring knife and the 2nd and larger EDC knife will depend on where I am going & what I am intending to do that day and can range from a medium 91mm/93mm or large sized 111mm SAK to a Buck 110, to a JW Case clip point lock blade knife, a Civivi flipper, a Kershaw speedsafe opening knife or an axis lock knife of some sort.

😂😂 I think the Fenrir is popular enough that they'll probably do other locks with it. They should

I'm guessing they'll be doing other locks with it too. But I'm guessing 😂
This blade shape was completely copied from the “Kubey” Ceto! Or the "Fenrir" Just smaller.. I have the Ceto, it’s awesome in every way!
This is a Fenrir from Greg Schob Kansept/Tenable. Didn't you listen to the video?
I did, just missed the fact that kansept & Tenable are sister companies!

I do like that blade style a lot.. having a similar one, it grew on me.

Picked one up before the video ended. I looked at them the other day. So I was already leaning towards getting one anyways. Awesome review.

Oh baby. An aluminum budget sweet ass looking fenrir? And a button lock? Hell yeah. But I loved the front flipper in the OG.

I'm sure their not done with it
No more button plunge 🤢
What nonsense! You received this knife as a gift & thus your review is 100% Tainted irrespective of whether the knife is actually good or not.
