    I want to thank you so much for sharing this with the coconut flour. It taste so much more like real pizza then the almond flour. Also almond flour causes bloating and swelling in my body.

    This was hands down the BEST keto pizza dough that I have ever had!!! I made my crust a little thicker than yours and cooked it a little longer until it’s was a little golden brown. They dough texture was pretty much perfect!! And I think it’s bc of the coconut flour. I’m glad that you used coconut flour bc it’s much cheaper than almond flour! I added garlic powder, Italian seasoning and oregano to the dough, it tasted sooo good! I also added oregano and Italian seasoning to the sauce. This dough didn’t fall apart it was a nice bready texture, I will use this to make garlic and cheese bread also. Thank you again ❤️!!

    Thanks so much for this recipe, I've tried others (like the cauliflower crust 🤮) and they fell apart and had a strong flavour. This coconut fathead dough was lovely, I made the same amount you did but split it in half and saved half in the freezer. I rolled it out quite thin, and wow it really did taste like a traditional thin crust pizza. You don't really have to worry about overcooking it (of course don't burn it) but mine was nice and brown on the outer crust and it was nice and crispy, and the whole pizza stayed together well and wasn't too sloppy, I was actually able to pick slices up like an actual pizza.

    I’ve been looking for a recipe using the coconut flour. I’m not fond of all the almond flour recipes in general. Some are good, but some I just can’t ewwwww. It’s a texture thing lol! I have yet to make fathead dough, but yours is the one I’m trying. Thanks for sharing and Stay Well 🙏

    • @TIMTalksCooking

      Hello PG! You can nearly always substitute coconut flour for almond--just use 1/3 as much, so for every tablespoon of almond flour, use 1 teaspoon of coconut. Have you tried lupin flour? Use the same amount of that as almond flour in any recipe. Thanks for this comment!

    • @psychicgambler9883
      @psychicgambler9883 4 года назад

      TIM Talks Cooking I have not. I’ve only been doing this for about 3 months, and the only thing I’ve tried to make is a mug cake, which I loved. I tried some things from a low carb cafe we have in the area, but most was made from almond flour. Some things the texture and crumbliness was too much for me. Plus, on another subject, I couldn’t tolerate the sweetness they are using...I’ve got to start making things on my own to keep it interesting, and tolerable at the same time. Hopefully I will stay the course and try this out today.

    I made 2 recipes with almond flour which were barely edible. Happy to have found fathead dough made with coconut flour. Can I make a loaf of bread with this recipe? I'd like to add yeast too? Thank you

    • @TIMTalksCooking
      @TIMTalksCooking  3 года назад

      Hi Sandra! Thanks for this comment! Hope you like! I don't think this recipe will make decent bread. You can add yeast here (about a teaspoon) for taste, but it won't make this dough rise. I have lots of keto breads you might like: Keto Breads: ruclips.net/p/PLqy5tHDTT3kOUrwwyeUk8Ho7jBFi9VdHC
