I really love how you plan on taking some soil to your new home to create a connection with your "old" home. Such a lovely and inspiring idea!

This is the first video I’ve watched so I’ll be here at the beginning of the new journey. The farm looks beautiful and such a blank slate. Where do you even begin? I’m new to permaculture so interested in what you focus on at the start. Best wishes.

      Thank you Gloria!
It’ll certainly be different to this last year!!

I’m sure it’s difficult to leave the old location after they have put so much work into it, but the new location is absolutely beautiful and it is exciting to see what they will do with it. Given that Glasbren has already offered courses and workshops, would they have any interest in starting a formal school there centered around permaculture, regenerative agriculture, sustainable living, et cetera?

Great question an always Ben, I’ll ask Abel 👍

Another great video. Deserves to be widely seen given content and production values! Have you considered the title? Does “A great alternative” tell enough? “Resilient gardening for temperate climates”? Just an idea. Rob

Thank you so much, that means a lot 😊
The channel is called A Great Alternative because the aim is that we (myself mostly but also my wife Alicia), meet and share the story of people who are living their version of “A Great Alternative”.
This may include tutorials, longer documentaries or videos that are kinda in between (like the market garden year with Abel) but they are also under the general theme of people that work with or in the outdoors in some way.
That’s a great title idea though, to be honest you may have given me an idea for the title to a longer video I make with Abel!!

Easy to watch, wish you would provide more b-roll of what you're talking about and less fillers, so they're not just pretty shots but continue telling the story and attention doesn't get lost.

      Thanks for the feedback.
It’s definitely a tricky decision for each video as often we don’t have as much time as we need or especially like with this month there was a big chunk we literally couldn’t film because Abel wasn’t working on the garden, which is why I’ve got to fall back on the b-roll I could capture at the time.
Was there anything specific you’d like to know more about?
Or any questions you’d like me to ask Abel?

@@agreatalternative Totally understandable, you make content that is easy to watch. I just think that this is the only thing that could be improved other than some visual elements but you'll get there, I'm sure. Thanks for sharing on RUclips!

@@HundredPercentLuck Thank you again, I agree it’s all a constant learning process and like with any creative project I aim to challenge myself by doing something different or being better than the last project!
