Wow thank you. I just have my anthiriums potted in soil and a lil husk. Didnt know about peanut shells. Will have to research on that. Thank you for the lessons. I enjoyed it. Your anthuriums look amazing

You're welcome Tarja. Glad you liked the video. If you can't find peanut shells, combinations of other organic matter such as charcoal and chopped tree bark also works. Good luck with your anthuriums.

Your anthuriums are so lush and beautiful😍. I have a weakness for growing them but somehow i keep losing them🤦‍♀️🤷‍♀️🙆‍♀️. However, about 8 months ago I repotted them using potting soil mixed with charcoal, peanut shells and tiny pieces of coconut husk. Then i use the larger chunks of the coconut husk to secure the plants inside the pot. They are now looking much better and I am beginning to get blooms. I am now inspired to acquire a few more plants, lol. Thank you so much for the demo and I do look forward to your upcoming videos on further care of these beautiful plants. Cheers and God bless🥰👍🙏

You're welcome Adisa, I hope the video helps. The husks should come from naturally dry, mature nuts, which have looser fibres that absorb much more moisture than the green husks.
